Yes it did seem like the actors were saying these goodbye lines as much as for their personal selves as they were for their roles as the characters on the show. All very genuine & I think the "taller" line was ad lib, don't you? :)
OMG arent you excited Jonathan Jackson is finally coming back to GH his first airdate is OCT 27th hes actually taping his first scenes today, YAY!!!!!!!!
Jonathan Jackson not only physically resembled Luke back in the 90's, but he also acted in similar ways to his father. JJ was the ONLY Lucky Spencer and I truly believe that Tony Geary felt the same way.
I miss their chemistry and their bond together. They're relationship was one of the reasons why GH was such a strong soap back in the 90's.
The best father/son due EVER in daytime! JJ/TG had that insurmontable chemistry that cannot be recreated.. Just can't. The acting was off the CHAIN between them! OMG! I remember these scenes so vividly, and I remember feeling all of these emotions because I knew JJ was leaving and I knew how TG/JJ felt about eachother and when Luke called Lucky his "hero" I bawled like a baby! Just damn! JJ/TG had such a REALNESS to them that made them believable as father/son. Miss them together like CRAZY!
I have already posted a comment. But I often watch this scene. Who knew that this would be the last scene between these two great actors. I always hoped JJ would return.
i was always a true lucky fan too his chemistry was just amazing but with what they have done to lucky these days i wonder if he could be GV's lucky. and if you really want a laugh picture JJ as a part of Lusam? anyways i agree with you that JJ was the best Lucky
Anthony Geary/Luke Spencer the greatest ever on Daytime. The chemistry between these two is something very rare. The character of Lucky has never been the same since J. Jackson left. I miss him.
yes two GREAT actors....I really loved JJ as Lucky and his terrific chemistry with Tony and Genie...Lucky saying he loves his dad after all they had been thru recently was so great

Wow thats an intense scene after everything they have been though and to actually hear lucky say he loves his dad. Do you have any videos of Lucky when everyone thinks he is dead and he is kidnapped by fasar or how ever you spell it with?
I loved GH in the late 1990's. The music was beautiful!! Writing was very well done. Wendy Riche was amazing. Please come back Ms. Riche!!!
