This was actually quite embarrassing to watch. As a Wiccan, I'm quite proud of the tolerance I've built over time for other faiths around me, especially the nay-sayers. This is the cornerstone of our faith..."There is more than one path to God/dess. We must respect each their own path." This faith is about harmony, with Gaia and ourselves, and any display of 'ranting', for a school project or not, goes against our fundamental teachings. If you are Neo Pagan, I'd say you have a lot left to learn.

It really pisses me off all those kids laughing in the background. honestly, yes, she is very worked up yet I can imagine just judging by those students' reaction that they give her crap everyday. I know, I get it at school all the time. I've had people tell me various demeaning things, I can shrug off the words though it sometimes becomes more serious than just words. But it gets to the point of so much bullying because of your beliefs that you WILL reach your limit and go off.

@slively765 Actually, the pentacle was co-opted from pagans. They are not identical at all and the symbol does not belong to satanism except where it has been essentially stolen. And, as has been stated about 5 times now, the intensity is part of the assignment and the professor requested the aggressive approach. Please pay attention and do your homework prior to commenting.

Pagans in Iceland sacrificed childred up to the early 1000s. Some native American pagans did human sacrifice all the way up to the 1600s and some native American pagans still do animal sacrifice to this very day.

And to address the point, while you are correct about recent sacrifice (Hmong or Hindu sacrifice for instance) among groups westerners lump into the pagan camp, most of them don't consider themselves pagan. But then the definition of pagan, neo-pagan, and even Wiccan, which is more precise by far, has been a major issue in the western neo-pagan world. It will probably be an issue for some time to come. We're here anyway and we'll figure out the words later.

Actually yes, most of them were. She told me specifically to up the intensity for my performance, so I was actually getting in people's faces. A few of them were slightly more sedate, but that was for specific reasons. Our proff liked the more... lively performances ^_^;
