Personally I think Karl Malone is better than Olajuwon because Karl had a lot more strength. Karl was a rebounding machine and could finish through contact as well. Malone had more points and more rebounds.
im saying it i think even though duncan has 4 rings and is a great power foward, karl malone is the best power forward ive ever seen, athletic, has the shot, get to the line, rebounds, it doesnt hurt that he had stockton but as a sonics fan i hated going to utah... what a rivalry we had with them. There aren't two players i respected more as an opponet though then Stockton and Malone
@bronxboy231 I do not understand either. It plays the same position, do not throw the same, not crushed like, are not equal .... by his explosiveness??? maybe??
@lebron6theking No, Karl was a real hurricane, his physical strength and athletic served him to crush rivals. With age, he went off and became more "conservative."
@Zantrap I believe that Tim could that it has more digest of movements in the post. Malone was very intelligent playing, was interpreting the pick and roll with Stockton as nobody.
@Zantrap Well Duncan has a much better low post, post up game than Malone. Malone was simply a physical player who got to the freethrow line a lot, and had a mid range jumper. Malone barely had any post up game. Duncan had one, and was known for it. Defensively Duncan is better too. Duncan made his team better, Malone just found ways to score. That about sums it up.
@toneflinski i was just telling the people who were making the dream teams but my dad said that kareem abdul jabbar wasnt that good of an all around player
NOBODY can dunk with the kinda power that Karl could. Not Shaq...not Barkley...not NOBODY! Been watchin Blake Griffin and I instantly thought.."damn...he dunks like Malone" but after watching this it's obvious there is still a big difference. The Mailman lowered the HAMMER like nobody's business.
@ZZAAN84 Shaq and Barkley both dunked with more power than Karl, so did shawn kemp and amare stoudemire, I'll give you blake though, he's not there yet.
my all-time starting 5...(if i had too choose my starters and build a team) (pg) Magic Johnson (SG) MIchael Jordan (SF) Larry Bird (PF)Karl Malone (C) Hakeem Olajawon My reserves wudd be PG - John Stockton SG - Reggie Miller SF- Scottie Pippen PF- Charles Barkely C - David Robinson
He is the greatest PF ever I have not seen anyone play as good as he did in his prime. I wish he would of got a championship. Any ways go Jazz 2010-2011

The best PF ever.(not one of the best, He just the best)
He still a important player when he is 40!!!!
And when Malone 34 years old
He still better than KG、TD and a little better than Barkley.
(When they are 34 years old)
