  • Ok, quick question, Can you move an energy from one pokemon to another? For example, I have a green energy on my benched bulbosaur, and my active weepinbell needs a green energy for attack, can I move that green from bulbosaur to weepinbell?

  • but what happens if u have no more energy cards? someone pls answer

  • Oh goody, I need energy cards..

  • what if my pokemon gets knocked out and it had an energy attahed to it?where does the energy card go to?

  • @beam0071 all energy cards would go to discard pile with your pokemon :)

  • does the energy go to the discard pile after u used a move?

  • @XThiefRoksX2 nope, they keep attached to your pokemon to use them again and again

  • @XThiefRoksX2 Only if the attack says to discard them. normally no, they only go to the discard pile if the pokemon it is attached to is defeated, or if you decide to retreat it and it has a retreat cost, or you use a trainer card that tells you to. But some special attacks require you to discard energies after using them :)

  • Im not a pokemon hater but i just prefer yugioh..................... but go ahead and do what you like

  • That "big attack" isn't really that big at all.

  • battle battle

  • I cant see what to do! Can't you just put what you are saying in the description?!?

  • I'm kind of new to playing so can someone tell me what happens if you have a Pokemon that for example has an attack that needs 2 energy and you already have put 2 energy on that Pokemon. Can you keep attacking without putting more energy?

  • i prefer to play yugioh because i find it more easy XD

  • Is there a limit to how many energies a pokemon can have?

  • @hinduw ya 24

  • @hinduw Nope :), but nobody wants to put 4 energy cards to a pokemon that only uses 3 ;D

  • @runefreak623 only one energy per turn to only one pokemon

  • @shakurak no unless specified

  • where can you go buy energy cards

  • you need to get them in a booster pack or in a starter deck or in a tin of pokemon cards so basicaly go to anystore that sells pokemon cards and buy a pack of cards and hope u get enerjy u usually do

  • buy a starterdeck ^^

  • Fire energies are such a pain to find for me. I keep finding either Grass or Water most of the time.

  • no i think your buying the wrong decks, you can choose what type you want.:)

  • don't call her a fagot!!!

  • she cant be a faggit she is a girl

  • 30 dmg is a big attk :O lol

  • you can but pokemon cards anywhere ou go so i don't know what stores you have but i guess you have a walmart, target, toys r us and just ask the workers there where is your cards and they will show i hope that helped

  • Quick question that hasn't been answered for me;

I have charizard as my active pokemon, he needs 4 fire energy cards to use his attack. So it takes 4 moves to finally have his attack ready, I use it, and people say the energies stay on (even if it tells you to discard it, just pretend that it doesn't for charizard for a minute)... So even if it's on Charizard, can I still use them, or are they just dead wight on him? Would I immediately be able to use my move next turn, or would it take 4 moves?

  • Yeah i know but you get so many doubles and thay only give you two types i think its kinda a waste

  • how in the world do you get so many energys i open pokemon booster packs i dont get any all i have is water fihting and 2 fire energys none of the others so how do i get some? plz respond thanx

  • theme decks, there $12

  • try getting some deck boxes (the ones with 60 cards) they have like 20 energies

  • um where can i buy pokemon cards

  • local store shops like comic shops, card shops, book shops including game shops.Over in Nz they have them in Eb games store :) even toy world or warehouse

  • is there packs out there that give only energy

  • what happens to the energy cards after you attack, are they dicarded or do you put back in your hand?

  • How come every pack I got,I never get Energies

  • because its more about the getting the pokemon instead of the energies, plus it would suck just to get a pack full of energies only.

  • but how should I attak without energies

  • how many times can you use the whirpool?

  • once per turn. whirpool is an attack, so you can use it once per turn

  • but with the same energy cards?

  • Whirlpool's attack description says: "Discard an energy card attached to the defending pokemon"... Some pokemon that has whirlpool may say "flip a coin. If heads,..." before the previous description.

If the attack doesn't specify that you have to discard an energy card to do that attack, then is not necesary to.

  • so you need energy cards to attack? and if you need a colorless energy if you odnt have one you can use an energy one??

  • uhhh how do u tell which ones r colorless r the colorless ones the white ones?

  • Ok, let me make this really simple for you, Colorless Pokemon Are Actually Normal Pokemon if You've ever played the game. and for the energy card, colorless could be any, and i mean any energy card, so lets say you have a Blaziken, and it needs 2 fire Energys and 1 colorless (A.K.A any energy card) for blaze kick or whatever, so you put 2 fire energys and lets say 1 steel energy

  • @Darkrai601 Colorless is also Dragon and Flying. then again these people knwo nothing about Pokemon at all. Not even the main character of the anime.

  • @Darkrai601 that's EXACTLY what she said

  • @Darkrai601 What if I don't have any energy cards at all

  • I HAVE A QUESTION

when you do an attack, will your energy be discarded or does it stay on my pokemon?

  • it stays normally but if underneath the move says a type of energy you have to remove then do so but if it doen't keep it there

  • I have many new fire energy cards but also 1 old one from the basic deck (the very first. :P) I have the trainer kit with latios and latias. Thats a deck with half fire and half electric pokemon. And I have an ex sandstorm deck, which is a fire and a grass deck. :)

  • do u no where to get good energy cards i need them for my lv X infernape

  • your best options are to ask a friend 4 some or buy a starter deck, u can read what energies the deck contains on the back of the box. the booster packs u should not get 4 energies.

  • how many energy cards can i play per turn?

  • 1 normally

  • 1) when you win and your oppenant's monsters get knocked out you take YOR OWN PRIZES, not others -- for jerks to dont know the game right...

    2) If ya opponant is out of cards they loose and you win. Same thing goes for you but opposite

    3) if you also have no pokemon left in your deck, you also loose.

    ^_^

I have been playing pokemon cards for 10yrs so I know the game basics.

  • Hey dude im new to the game and if you run out of prize cards you lose? and if you kill opponents card you draw your own? but if you kill six of his you lose dont you?

  • you if have taken all your prize cards you win. you draw one card every turn, and draw a prize card when you kill an opponent. you win when the opponent has no more pokemon either attacking or benched.

  • no you win. no. no you win

  • What if you have no energy to attack with and when do you draw a card

  • @ppg07863 if you have been playing that long I've been searching an answer for this for FOREVER i heard rumors you can only have 4 dark energy in your deck. is that true?

  • @ppg07863 ahhh :)

    please can you teach me?

  • @ppg07863 Thank You!

  • @ppg07863 good for you now lets take you back to basic 2nd grade english and teach you how to speak and write correctly. Also take you to spelling so you learn how to tidy about that mother fucking YOR and for jerks to dont know the game right.

  • @ppg07863 Wow I've never met anyone who has wasted 10 years of your life, your my hero reeeeeealy.

  • where can you get energy cards?

i heard that the 10 card packs dont have them now

please answer, i'm new to pokemon

  • can you use old energy cards in newer play? i hve more old energy than newer ones. i dont know if i can bouild a deck becuase i am not sure.

  • some of the Pokemon types have changed over the years, but the basic types like fighting, lightning, grass, fire, etc. are still there. so your old energy cards will still be good to use today.

  • domdom87 yes

  • 3 questions: after you attack, do the energies just stay there? and also, how do you win a game? when is it over?

  • 1. Yes, the energies stay there.

    2. You win by collecting all of your opponent's prize cards, knocking out your opponent's last Pokemon, or if your opponent is out of cards at the beginning of their turn.

    Hope that helps!

  • dont u take your own prize cards?

  • Oh, you're right...

    yeah, I'm stupid xD
