  • He could be Nigerian, he's got the nigerian accent

  • It takes years to come to terms with the Singaporean accent!

  • SINAGPORE!!!!! :D

  • @MRafh979 --Many convert to Islam for ignorance & others for being threat (Qur'an 9:5). Muhammad never spoke to Allah nor he did miracles (Qur'an 29:50).

I mean, why then Muhammad was a prophet? Because the Qur'an said so? & why the Qur'an said so? Because Muhammad Said so! This is circular reasoning.

Several Hadith speak about the relationship of Muhammad & Aisha! How can that be a prophet?

Qur'an is a book of one (Muhammad). The Bible a book of several ones that speak about the same Truth.

  • @HushAndLearn Well, from my knowledge Muhammad did say that God speaks to him, therefore, he is a prophet. At first people thought Muhammad was crazy because he was an uneducated man, but after a while people start to listen to him and surprise of much he knows. By the way I'm a CHRISTIAN.

  • @romain6655 >>Well, from my knowledge Muhammad did say that God speaks to him, therefore, he is a prophet

--[Qur'an 2:97] "Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel - it is he who has brought the Qur'an down upon your heart, [O Muhammad], by permission of Allah , confirming that which was before it and as guidance and good tidings for the believers."

According Qur'an 2:97 was Gabriel. Qur'an says Muhammad is a prophet and Muhammad is the one who wrote the Qur'an, that is call circular reasoning.

    Regards

  • @HushAndLearn 1) A true prophet can 'close the line of prophets of God'. 2) Muslims believe Jesus was a true prophet. 3) Jesus closes the line of prophets with John the Baptist in Matt 11:11-14., 4) Therefore, Mohammed is canceled as a valid candidate for the role of Prophet.

What do you think if this syllogism. I have an expanded version of it, but it can't fit here.

  • @romain6655 >>At first people thought Muhammad was crazy because he was an uneducated man, but after a while people start to listen to him and surprise of much he knows. By the way I'm a CHRISTIAN.

--The only way to be a Christian is by following Jesus Christ teachings. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and Muhammad to kill them, so there is no compatibility between them.

Joseph Smith claim to be the last prophet, why not him instead of Muhammad? None of them did miracles nor spoke to God!

  • @romain6655 you seem to know something about this... can you tell me if Muhammad gave some test to him receiving revelations from God?

I mean in the Bible, prophets are tested again and again. The reason why we accepts the books of prophecy in the Bible is because quite a few of the claims in them have been tested and found true.

    How is it with Islam?

  • @romain6655 there is no proof that God spoke to Muhamed. Well you could say he was illiterate. But what miracles did muhamed perform? and what prophecies did he speak?

  • @romain6655 There is only 1 test as to whether a prophet is truly from God: Has he made even one prophecy that did not come true. Through the old & new testaments, there were countless false prophets - it was a real problem, especially when the false prophets only would tell the king and the people what they wanted to hear.

  • @romain6655 Yes, Lucifer/Shaitan can appear as an angel of light. He was created beautiful, after all, it is his heart that became twisted and ugly. Question: how did Mohammed know he was not being fooled? Considering that the Bible was not translated into Arabic for 2 more centuries after Moh., I suspect that the only knowledge he had was rumor and hearsay. I see so many basic factual and spiritual errors in Koran I do not know even where to begin.

  • @HushAndLearn Agreed. No one believer or atheist should be satisfied with circular reasoning. If one was required to believe in a holy book merely because it commanded it, we should all convert to Mormonism now! Heh. No, one of the ways to break the circle is to recognize prophecies ... written hundreds of years before, fulfilled precisely in time. The Bible is a document that shows it was written by someone who is above and outside of Time itself.

  • @HushAndLearn I have muslim roommate. Listening to him and youtube professors of islam, I perceive something: Since the Koran was 'given' by God, complete, with explicit commands for life, the muslim presumes that everything that has gone before must also follow this model. If it does not, it is almost like they cannot even see it (like being color-blind). Jesus is God reaching out to mankind for love and relationship -- not a bunch of threatening commands in plain-text.

  • @quakerman7 According to [Qur'an 2:97] it wasn't given by God but by the Angel Gabriel & apostle Paul warned us in [2 Corinthians 11:14] And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.

Every time I asked a Muslims why they believe Muhammad and not Joseph Smith if Smith claim to be the last prophet, I never get an answer that make sense; none of them did miracles nor ever spoke to God. The best way to support claims is by doing miracles which none of them did

  • being african, his accent is quite clear for me

  • Ravi is truly smart if he can understand this asian guy. I'm asian too and it's so hard to understand his viet. accent?

  • he was here at NUS? the logo on the lectern looks like the NUS logo.

  • you sound like a sore loser?

  • Hey, i think if the guy who asked the question, is viewing this video, i think he probably would be embarrassed!..aha! it sounds really funny when ravi gave a well explained answer and that singapore is trying to talk some crap.. i think its psychological, when you know you're going to lose a debate..you start to ask question which are not really critical but just spend alot of time just asking a stupid question?

  • God and free will do not fit together, not a good god anyway.

GOD - "I will give humans the free will so I can burn them for eternity for doing things I should've prevented"

  • @DarkZholt >>GOD - "I will give humans the free will so I can burn them for eternity for doing things I should've prevented"

--Isn't it backwards? If we have no freewill then God is sending us just there just because He wants to and no by our own free rejection.

  • @HushAndLearn Our will or his will, it still sounds cruel and unfair. The kind of mistake a human would make, not a god ...

  • @DarkZholt >>Our will or his will, it still sounds cruel and unfair. The kind of mistake a human would make, not a god ...

--Our will. Because we are rejecting Him because of our will, not His. He is the only source of live, there is no other way to go, nor a better place than Heaven with Him.

  • @HushAndLearn Was this in Singapore? The guy who questioned Ravi sounded like a Singaporean.

  • @Zaphenath4 >> Was this in Singapore? The guy who questioned Ravi sounded like a Singaporean.

--Yes, I actually got it from Google video and it says is from Singapore

  • @HushAndLearn where does the Bible talk about free will?

  • @1rubensito1 >>where does the Bible talk about free will?

--Freewill is within love. You can't force your wife to love you if is not by her own choice, nor you can make a robot to feel love towards you nor you fall in love towards a robot. Love is the free expression of a personal choice, if we have no freewill, then God is not love.

    Regards.

  • So common law and secular courts mean nothing. Punishment by fine, serving time, etc will not convince atheists to act good?

  • @FujiwaraNoGo >>You're assuming that the bible is true, but you've done nothing to support that claim

--Reality is enough evidence to support its claim for endless reasons. E.g. Matter in and of itself doesn't have any capacity to know nor to understand what is adaptable and what is not. All matter must have an initial behavior as a law, not as a wish. So if you see a dictionary you assume it was an intelligence behind it, otherwise you'll be in violation of science, logic and reason.

    Regard

  • @FujiwaraNoGo >>That's not an answer. All you're saying is that might makes right, god won't explain himself, and we should all just shut up and obey

--Not if you really look at the points made on these videos. Is not about shut up, is about truth. If what God tell us is truth, then tell me how worth is to go against it? God is showing us the truth so we may be free and happy, but no, people decide to go more towards postmodernism and screw everything up

    Peace!

  • @FujiwaraNoGo >>I don't see how that would comfort Job's first family who were treated worse than playthings

--You can't read the context ignoring the content. You don't suppose to have faith just because you have all things in life, that's awkward. If you reject Jesus, is not for scientific reasons but because you don't like nor agree with the Truth that is coming from His words.

Many people have accidents & die, but God is the only one who can restored those people's life as He promise.

  • @FujiwaraNoGo >>The book of Job teaches us that human beings are expendable and therefore worthless.

--To the contrary, at the end you see how Job was rewarded twice as much because of his faith. Job is a perfect example to to many people and why bad things happened to good people, but if your faith remain, you'll get much more than that you could ever get, not necessarily in the physical world but in the spiritual world.

    Kind regards.

  • Muchisimas gracias :) , esperare. Estos videos me son de gran bendicion !!!

  • Alguien por favor lo puede traducir :( ?

  • i hardly understood what the japanese guy was saying...sigh.

  • @lightbrownpoop he's chinese

  • Thanks for uploading another sweet video. Love Ravii.

  • Like the video. He really did well answer that Japanese guy's questions. That Japanese guy really did understand what he was saying & by the looks in his eyes he looked very sad & depressed & like he has no hope in his life. Well that's how most atheist are they really don't have hope. I really pray that what that man said helped open that Japanese guy's heart to the Gospel.
