  • thank you for your review because I#m on a budget and don't want to spent a fortune on clarisonic

  • I love the neutragena it works really well well maybe that's cuz I have the sonic wave but still......

  • Thank u! I;m trying to pick the best one for me and this review was really helpful

  • How do you spell the "clair sonic"?! i wanna look it up , thanks ! (:

  • @AngelChaeng clarsonic

  • i have one and it only has 1 button

  • I could care less about the wave. Looks dumb. But thanks for the iskin! I want a clarsonic but no way could I spend that much! I'm going to get an iskin asap! Thanks!

  • No use the buff puff pads, their cheaper , also use gylcerin soap because it holds water in the face and the pads can be reused when rinse well and air dry.

  • the Iskin and Neutrogena Wave, for the Iskin do you know if you can get it in UK and if so do you apply cleanser and then use it or is it instead of an exfoliator?

  • @jdheartsyou I am not sure if you can buy it in the UK, but you can buy the sigma version! you apply cleanser and it also exfoliates!

  • @jdheartsyou i saw it being sold from someone in the uk on ebay (saw 10 mins ago)

  • how do you use it?

  • @jdheartsyou which one are you asking about?

  • Is that the wave or the wave sonic, because i thought the wave had only 1 speed?

  • is that the wave or the wave sonic, because i thought the wave had only 1 speed?

  • what about the olay pro

  • @chloeninaful I don't own that one- sorry!

  • Okay with the Iskin and clarisonic: did you notice any difference with the bristles?

I have heard the clarisonic's bristles are so soft you can use on the eye area, would you say that the Iskin's bristles are also as soft?

  • @fruitypebbles722 they are very similar in softness

  • Ive Used The Wave For Over A Year Now And I Think Its Absolutely Brilliant Its Been Like A God Send For Me It Cleared My Skin Up And Made My Face Feel Really Soft And Smooth .. Id Defo Recommend This To People Who Have Sensitive Skin And Normally Breakout With Other Cleansers =) !

  • After you use the wave are you suppose to wash off the clenser or just leave it on?

  • @acidcupcakeable wash it off

  • I think she a little bias because for the Iskin she uses her favorite cleanser and she main problem with the WAVE was the cleanser. Also there to WASH your face not take off your makeup. I'm sorry I'm not a hatter to anyone but I love this product and think it's great(the WAVE) but I am a teenager not a adult... Soo There's a difference! :/

  • @immabeautygirl But if you can't use your own cleanser then there IS a problem for some people.

  • @alanagkelly Yeahh true and I like the exfoliating ones better they leave your skin softer and they have more soap! :)

  • OK dumb question: what do you do to batteries that u have used? Lol I've never used them before

  • @parkranger487 I throw them away

  • using batteries is so bad for the enviroment, its not a better option, might be cheaper in the short run but in the long run it'll be so much more expensive

  • PLEASE ANSWER: do you HAVE to buy to heads for iskin? if so, how much are they??

  • @XjacksonhaltomX they do not sell replacments! :o(

  • @Lisasz09 ok thank you :) i just bought this 3 days ago! i love it :)

  • @MrExit15 i think you can. its not a big deal to pour some of your cleanser on top of the pad. Then, you get more cleaning power!! :D

  • Is it $10 for the pads and the wave or just the wave?

  • @brlhns123 I bought mine all together

  • THIS IS SO DUMB, ITS JUST A BRUSH.

  • The iskin vs the Olay Prox? What do you think? Thanks!

  • @likecrunchyness I have not tried the olay one- sorry

  • @likecrunchyness the iskin for sure!

  • What cleanser were you say you were using?

:) thx! i was looking for a good cleanser!! :)

  • @cwingso I am not sure now I use cetaphil or estee lauder the blue one

  • the brush can be turned up side down for your forehead

  • The Neutrogena Wave was exellent and made my skin so soft and smelled great. BUT THEY DISCONTINUED THE WAVE. Guess I will switch to the Surge until they decide to discontinue that too.

  • How often should I change the brush on the Iskin? Please reply someone

  • @BrittanyAmber728 i think it is every 60 days

  • you're able to turn the brush oder rotate, don't know the right word :D

  • The Wave is on sale from 15 to 9 at walamrt in Canada.. At least mine lol

  • Even though I'm 17 and have an acne-prone t-zone, I hated the wave. So, I just stick with my cleanser and a washcloth.

  • What would you reccomand more, clarisonic/ iskin?

  • @timusow98 clarsonic if yoiu can afford it

  • you can spin the brush upside down so it doesnt get your hair on ur forehead

  • omg thank you... im going to go buy tomorrow!!

  • $35.99 at sally beauty

  • can you please do a review on the clean and clear morning burst surge power cleanser??? i have wanted to get it but i dont know if it is that good of a product

  • @livelaughmusic1216 I dont own that cleanser but if i pick it up I will be sure to review it!

  • oh thank you soooo much ...i always wanted to get the clairsonic buttttt i can't travel with it because of the voltage and i travel to the middle east and stay there for a longer time than i stay @ the states and i want to take it to me so bad ...i'll just go and get that iskin thing if it will do the same thing

  • The wave caused skin irritation on my face hate it!

  • Thanks for the review.. i am just wandering wouldn't the brush break you out eventually cuz the more you use it the more dirt gets into it from your face makeup. i am only asking this because i use to use loreal 360 clean with the rubber thing to wash my face and i noticed it was making my face worse and i assumed its because of dirt getting stuck to that rubber even though i washed it after every use... so a brush worries me more

  • @basouma1987 I wash it every time after I use it with disenfecting soap!

  • I've had my iSkin since June (almost 5 months) and I use it for 1-2 minutes once or twice every single day, and I've NEVER changed the batteries. Idk if it's the Energizer batteries that I put in, or if it's the iSkin itself, but I love it lol

  • Omg my neutrogena wave rocks. I love it! It really cleans my skin. I have very oily skin and I feel so much less oily when i use it. Well great review. Thx Bye.

  • I am a twenty seven year old woman that is, sadly, just getting into the whole beauty routine. I mean I wash my face and stuff but not with clairsonic and things like that. I actually don't even know what type of skin I have so how do I find out. I'm assuming normal because it's not too dry or too oily. I joined the navy and my face broke out like never before right after bootcamp. Do u have any recommendations on cleansers or tips?

  • The brush turns around so the point faces the bottom!

  • Does the iSkin have a body brush attachment?

  • @MixedChic1 not that I have seen! :o(

  • So helpful! Just got it :)

  • i hate the wave i tried it and i hated it it made me break out and i dont like that

  • Ummm im 14 and i have a lot of acne on my fro head is it good for me ?

  • @nini40350 yes it should help clean the area better and possibly reduce the break outs!

  • I just bought the iskin today! Used it. Loved it. Will never leave it. :)

  • Thanks for this great review! I just wonder if It's Iskin Pore Perfecting System or i-Skin Intelligent Microdermabrasion System? And where else can i get it beside sally? thanks!

  • @cydangie it is the pore perfecting one! I have only seen it at Sallys maybee ebay though!

  • thanks so much!!! im so happy with this review, i was about to shovel out a few hundred for the clarisonic, ill give this one a try!

  • you can turn the brush head upside down so it doesnt pull down ur hair!

  • I had to pay 20 for mine what the hell lol

  • bought the iskin yesterday :D love it, soo soft and pamperful lol :)

  • Thank you , thank you , thank you....I just found out about iSkin, and like was wondering if it could match up to the performance of the clearisonic. I have been contemplating purchasing the clearisonic for weeks and of course the price is a deteran... thanks for confirm the option which is iskin

  • i wish you could use the wave with your own cleanser that is more specifically tailored for your skin type.

  • @MrExit15 Try putting a cotton pad with a drop of your own cleanser on it.

  • @MrExit15 they say that u can take a regular cotton pad and put ur own cleanser on there. so i hope this helps!

  • @MrExit15 you can use the wave with your own cleanser :) just get a cotton pad and stick it on the wave and put your own cleanser on it

  • ahh!! thank you soo much! i got a facial the other day and the lady used the clarisonic on me, and i fell in love, but it's just so darn expensive, so i'm totally getting the iskin thing tomorrow :DD

  • Oh my gosh thank you so much for this video!

  • I am soooooooooo glad I came across this video! :D seriously, u have no idea how much I love you for posting this video! I think my mom would let me get that iSkin thing since it is a benefit for skin and since it's much cheaper than the Clarisonic. I wanted the Clarisonic cuz I heard that it's better than using your hands or anything else when using a cleanser, but the iSkin seems like a good alternative too and the price is great!! :D :D and I heard a girl on YouTube yesterday say in a vid sh

  • I'm not sure if you know this now or not but you had mentioned that the brushed grabbed your hair from your hairline? Well the brush head actually turns so you can angle it when your washing your face grooves like your nose area and cracks! Great review otherwise!

  • Do you know if the iSkin will come out with colors like the clarisonic? That would be fun. :)

  • @delilah0summers probably not since theirs is so much less expensive- they will try to keep costs low by only using one color! Just my guess!

  • the brush head can be turned so that u wont get your hair

  • Thank you so much for this video!! I have been looking forever for another option because I felt so iffy about the clarisonic. I didn't want to spend 200 bucks on something I wasn't sure if it would work or not. I'm so excited to go get this now, THANKS!!

  • would you say the brush cleanser would be harsh on younger sensitive skin??

  • @Yomisshell o I think it is a very gentle exfoliator!

  • I was wondering if a Clarisonic brush head would fit on the iSkin? I just bought the iSkin and I LOVE it! Thank you for doing this review!

  • @tararae8 was wondering that too- I will have to give it a try!

  • @tararae8 I did check wheen I got home and they dont work on the iskin!

  • super helpful!!!! thank you!!! i'm going to get the iskin now!!!

  • to be honest, i used this and i found it awful, my skin used to be okay but as i got older its getting worse . but i was wondering if there is any drugstore cleansing products, i dont have any sensitive skin

    I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL :L

    Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • I just want to thank you for this video. I have been soooo unhappy with my skin and pores! So a few days after this posted I bought the i skin. This product has changed my skin. I never had bad acne but my skin almost looked like IIke I had scars or something... Very bumpy and rough and now it's almost all gone. My skin is smooth, brighter, my pores have shrunk... It's unbelievable. I LOVE this thing!!!!!! :)))

  • thanks for the info.... I have been wanting a cheaper alternative. I am going to get one this week

  • Lisa I have Really sensetive skin, and every foundation that i use , breaks me out. I really want to ask u what u will sugest to me. I tried all kind of foundations, liquids and minerals and powder, and all of them broke me out :(

Can u plz help me. Greetings from Sweden.

  • @MakeUpArtist9111 I would suggest NARS Sheer glow, Sheseido sun protection liquid or origins multi grain! Oh also korres wild rose is organic and good for sensitive skin

  • Very helpful & informative. I went to Sally's and purchased this affordable cleansing apparatus w/ a 20% off coupon for about $25, I had been wanting the Clarisonic but am so glad I had not spent that money. This is perfect. Good for you for helping all of us with this affordable alternative. Your videos are straight forward and detailed - I recommend you all the time. Thanks.

  • hey! I just bought the ISkin and I love it! So thanks! My question to you is, do you find it wears down your versa at all? I have to go today and I was wondering if I should lay off the iskin for the first couple days after I versa? Thanks!

  • @TXtechZETA I actually just use it once a day instead of two and I use a foundation that matches when i am the darkest with the versa! :o)

  • Thanks for putting this up. I have been looking for a Clarisonic dupe as I just can't see spending that kind of money on a giant toothbrush.. Heheh..

Can you tell me though, are the bristles the same (softness and feel) ?

Also I thought the Clarisonic osculated and in the video it looks like the ISkin is vibrating, do I have my info wrong?

Thanks a bunch, I appreciate the help.

  • @ChaoticMoira yes they are the same for me! The cloarsonic just vibrates- i have a review on it if you want to check out how the clarsonic works!

  • @Lisasz09 - Awesome awesome, thank you for the quick reply. I'll be heading to Sally's!!

  • I picked it up today, I hope I love it!

  • i used the wave for about 3 weeks and lemme just say that by the second week it didnt turn on anymore and the cleanser on the pads made my skin extremely dry to the point that not even my moisturizer was working i would never use it again!!!

  • @mzzamychong someone else asked for that also and I cant find it anymore- I heard that it is being discontinued! :o(

  • @mzzamychong sorry wrong response!

  • could you do a review on the sally hansen air brush makeup please?

  • @fudgefan omeone else asked for that also and I cant find it anymore- I heard that it is being discontinued! :o(

  • Can u do a complate review on the iskin and compare it to the clarisonic?

  • @AznMusicCutie I compare it to the clarsonic in this video i just didnt show it!

  • This is 41.00$ Canadian I just picked this up today. It is great! Thanks so much for all the info. :)

  • I love my clarisonic, it is one of the best purchases I have bought. It took me awhile to save for it, but well worth it.

  • Lisa, just wanted to say that I LOVE your reviews. I also tried the Wave and didn't like it, but I love that you don't just say you didn't like it - that you actively tried to find an alternative for viewers! I don't think the iSkin will work for me (I have very sensitive skin that can hardly even take the roughness of a washcloth) but I appreciate that you try really hard to help out your viewers! Keep doing reviews, I just love them!

  • good review.. i have the mia and the regular one.. and well they are great but i think i will try this one too lol.. Im addicted to ur channel

  • Hi Lisa! I went out and bought the Iskin yesterday after your review...and plan to take it back today...was not very impressed. Maybe I just got a 'faulty' one, but the high speed would not stay on, and the whole thing 'ratteled' when it was on. Seemed kind of cheaply made. I have a Neutrogena one that is 'simular' to this that was not as much $ and better made. So...I will stick that one! Just a heads up for someone else...sorry!

  • @96002krown ohh I am sorry to hear that! :o(

  • thanks for replying Lisa.... :D

  • Would you recommend the ISkin one to people who have sensative skin? Because I have combination skin with a oily T-zone, a little dry&sensative on cheek and I really want to try this but I'm scared that it would irritate my skin.

  • @jcxxll93 I would be careful with that since it could irritate your skin if it is sensitive- clarsonic atleast has a sensitive head you can buy seperate!

  • @Lisasz09 thanks for the response but I made a trip to sallys after watching this JUST to get the iSkin and I'm gonna start trying it out and see how it does on my cystic acne. I used it in the bath today and submerged it for a while and it kept going :)

  • You are soooo informative and helpful!!! Thanx so much!!!

  • i have been thinking of getting the mia but i think i will try this first:) have you done any reviews on kate somerville skincare? she seems to have very nice stuff. if you haven't would you in the future. thanks!!

  • @blueeyedthumper I have not tried the kate somerville products! sorry!

  • wow that actualy helped me to get rid of my ace

  • hey lisa,

you should try out the new l'oreal face products. they are amazing! me and my daughter both use them and we have seen such an immense improvement in our skin already! before we would have three or four pimples a day but then on a college tour we picked up some bottles and as soon as we used them the acne was gone! it's been 2 months now and i've only had 1-2 pimples. you should really try them out!

    -jodi

  • @meandamberr thanks for the tip- I might check it out more!

  • @meandamberr Can u tell me specifically what ones u use? I would like to try them out

  • @MakeupAddict102 i have the pink one which is for dry skin. and my daughter has the orange one which i believe is for oily skin. it's my go to product. i swear by it

  • Thanks for letting me know, your advice is really helpful!

  • @trlavend3r I actually dont own it and I have so many bases that I am trying to use them up first- sorry!

  • thanks sooo much for this review, i was going to shell out the 200.00 for the clarisonic, but i will be heading out to sally, to pick this one up...thanks again... for this review...

  • Thank you !

    You saved me $ 200

    I appreciate your review!

  • i-Skin Intelligent Microdermabrasion System & i-Skin Pore Perfecting System which one would you recommend : /

  • @LavenderLites the pore perfecting one! :o)

  • OMG! Thank you so much!!!!! I was about to buy the Clarisonic this month-for which i've been saving a while- but to know a cheaper alternative that does the same is amaizing! thank you! You saved me about $170

  • where can you guy the iskin?

  • @xxoashley23xxo oops meant to say buy!

  • @xxoashley23xxo at Sally Beauty Supply

  • how often should i wash my face using the IS. face brush?

  • @marlenebrooke I use it once a day and you can use it more if you want! :o)

  • Unbelievabley Neutragena tests on animals.

  • I tried the neutrogena wave out with the anti blemish and shine pads and I love it I have oily teenage acne-prone skin and it help clear spots and make my skin really smooth I think it only works for certain people :)

I would like to try out the iskin tho.

    x x

  • THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR THIS REVIEW!!!

  • Oh wow!... I was looking for something more inexpensive for my face and thank God i found it!... I will be going to Sally as soon as possible! (;

  • Could you please do a review of the L'Oreal Go 360 Clean cleanser?

  • @Crzy4Him88 I do have it and I do plan on reviewing it! :o)

  • awesome! that iSkin is something I would be likely to pick up over Clarisonic. thx for the review girl! =)

  • Thanks so much for this review, I would definitely try the iskin rather than the clarisonic now!

  • yeah, the cleanser on the wave dried out my skin, i'm going to give the iskin a try :-)

  • Such a great review...I've been pondering getting a clarisonic the last month...but now I'm definitely going to check out the iSkin

  • groovy review man

  • about after how long should you change the head? :) cool-thanks for the heads up!!

  • @makeuponmee I have never used the iskin, but I am sure the instructions say. After all, that's how they continue to make money!

I have the Clarisonic and they recommend every 3 months, with twice a day use.

  • @makeuponmee probably the same as the clarsonic- around 3 months!

  • i love my iskin! So glad you did a review on it and that it'll get some credibility now! Definitely an awesome dupe!

  • does the iskin eat up a lot of battery??

  • @spilledsoymilk no I dont find that to happen at all!

  • I've never used a Clarisonic but I love my ISkin. I like to use it with my Lush cleansers :)

  • The clarisonic is so much better.

  • can the iSkin go into the shower? Looks like a good deal!

  • @reilly9331 I take mine in the shower I just make sure not to soak it because I didnt notice if it should or should not be in a shower!

  • for those asking: i have the Clarisonic & i have NO idea why it's so expensive. i don't think it's life changing, at least not for me. i have sensitive acne prone skin and it really irritates my face. if you have oily skin maybe it's amazing, but it's definitely not worth all the money. if you can, get the mia- same EXACT thing, less money. the iskin sounds awesome, if i were you i wouldn't waste your money on the Clarisonic! just my opinion of course.

  • Paula Begoun had a good review of the clarisonic. A study she cites states that the clarisonic is just about the same as cleansing your skin with your cleanser and a washcloth. You can read more by googling clarisonic and paula begoun. Thanks for the headsup on the iSkin. I want to try that out

  • I can't find the replacement heads...:/

  • Your hair looks amazing in this video.

  • About how long until you have to replace the head on the iskin?

  • @st00pidness probably the same as the clarsonic- around 3 months!
