  • can't believe I actually watched the whole video :)). Nice vid !

  • the only thing that changes the time it takes for the swing of a pendulum is the the distance between the top of the cord and the center (of mass) of the weight. the varoius lengths are selected to swing together after a certain number of swings

  • Da war ich auch!

  • COOL

  • i wish i knew how it worked... in english lolz

  • i try to explain:

those pedulums have all different lenghts but the whole thing is constructet so that they end at the same high. | | | | | | | | | |

    | | | | |

    | | | | |

    ° ° ° ° °

They all travel with a bit different speed, so they dont stand syncrone and form those waves and doublewaves etc... hope that helped u

  • that did help me alot, but what is moving them? how were they all started at the same time?

  • u see the black rail at the bottom?

    Akk pendulums rest on it:

    \

     \ \ \ o*

The smol "o" is t he black rail.

At the beginning if the video u see it dropping down, below the pedulum, so all tart at same time

  • very cool
