@Stigma1990 Mate let me tell you.Anyone can sweep clean and fast.Nothing to do with talent but if you are not shown the correct way to practise i mean literally a walkthrough and follow it like the bible you wont be able to do it.You need to learn the correct mechanics of the movement..how both hands mute effectively..and how you practise.The guy in this video sweeps really good but really does nothing about guiding you on how to do the same.

An arpeggio is just a chord broken apart into individual notes, and they call it sweeping because you literally sweep the pick across the strings. An arpeggio is a series of notes that make up a chord but arent strummed as a chord, the notes are individual. Sweep arpeggio.

King V Kv2s are bad ass. I need to get one of those again. Jackson guitars always seem to be better for this style of playing if you ask me. The thinner necks and wider fretboards always seemed to allow for faster playing.

Hey man, just wanted to say thanks for pointing out that you mute with your thumb. One thing a lot of people don't point out is the need to find a way to mute the strings when you sweep. I have been playing for 26 years and never bothered picking up the sweeping, but now I find myself interested and this is a nice starting point. It's already cleaning up.

@AaronCatling That guitar model is called a Rhoads/ Randy Rhoads signature model. It was one of the first two Jackson models made and was completed slightly before Rhoad's death. It gave rise to a more traditional V model now called a king V and previously referred to as a double Rhoads.
