Sephiroths sword is a bit shorter in this game than it should be, although in different sources, the swords size is, inconsistant, and exaggerated. the sword 'MASAMUNE' existed long before Sephiroth, as part of Japanese mythology. The sword is an odachi, or 'giant sword' and is roughly six feet long. I own one of these and it is officially stated as the most accurate replica ever made.

What's considered “bad” or “good” is up to opinion. You have no claim that they are bad because “They look like lego characters” in fact it was rumored that they wanted to still keep a “2d feel” for ff7. Which was why the FMV's and the ATB modes were only in “3d” persay. To pay homage to the older games.

@pastuiedada And a little news flash, 3d was never “relevant” boss. You might have heard of a little game called “new super mario brothers?” Oh yes. That game is entirely 2d. As is a few other titles like View Joe and Braid. All of which have gotten great reviews and are 2d games. Oh and lets not forget Street Fighter 4? That's for the most part relies on it's 2d roots. Oh and then there's ikaruga which is also 2d.

actually this is the ps1 version, same graphics. The arcade version didn't have final fantasy VII characters. They added them in the ps1 version.

this game is...diferent. I like the idea of having your special attacks limited by a "energy bar". Forces you to be much smarter about it, rather than just throwing a few punches to fill-up the thing then use a super-move, but the "special attack" in this game is so effing delayed that...well, as the video shows: you reach for your sword or w/e you get punched in the face 90% of the time. >.>

Hold down guard and do the 360 on the d-pad in any direction and grab the opponant. Cloud should do a lung grab instead of a grab if done correctly.
