Really, the trick is to be able to see the ship's belly, pointing directly to you. Then push all the way down, no stop and no button changing.

BTW: your lvl of force grip does no affect this fight. i did it with lvl 1.

I beat it when I Realized this simple trick on the PC version:

Move your mouse extremley slowly. It doesnt matter if you swipe your mouse across the entire mousepad 5 times a second or if you move it at a snails pace, it moves at the same rate. Just go slow on the mouse, if your running off of the pad your doing it wrong. Beat it on my first try after realizing this trick. Hope it helps :)

Tips to beat it:

When centering it put the point up even if it is saying pull down, push up. If it is red and not saying what to do, push up. It will be green. Have the ship be level with the ground and center. Keep pulling it down while you're being shot at. Take hits until you are about halfway dead, if you're good enough. To take down ships jump up and use lightning.If you get stuck and can't seem to move the ship, start the level over. It may take a while. Have force push fully upgraded.

lol i know what to do i have this game on the pc and same problem cant rip down star ship to ground bud the trick is first try it to get it in the middle and if u do that you see on your monitor push S and mouse down then do that bud u see other wise a and D the trick is to first do S and mouse down and then use fast a & d and mouse up bud its inpossible i cant do this shit part :S i get so mad on this part :S :(

oh yea max upgrade ur hp,the ting that makes ur force(blue bar)regen faster thats all adn try to level up 3to5 times before u battle the destroyer. wish this tip helps

just max upgrade ur force grip & the thing for the talents that u dont take much damage each level up when did that i battled it again then boom it goes in the first round (first wave of tie fighters)but i almosed died my hp was 1 inch when it went down lolz. wish this tip works ^^
