No, I don't have a high paying job. This was years ago and the TV's long gone. I have plenty of other sources of entertainment thanks. I think it's far more lame to go around posting comments like yours on YouTube, but hey, everyone's entitled to their opinions. :)
I see a lot of people hurting themselves with the Metal powerballs a lot more than the plastic ones. They should put this one back in the project board and think of implementing a safer design while keeping the same speed and light weight.
My personal record is 10528 rpm. Ant that was while sitting on my chair :P Rofl took me several days to fin out how to swing the ball to get it rotating faster x)
just got a metal one - it's an arm killer - can only get 10200 at the moment - although i then quickly switched back to my regular and beat my long standing record straight away and got 13500. not in the men's world top 100 - but i beat all the women on their list :)
is the 35ohz REALLY worth it? I ordered a signature series and hop it's not too weak....i want a good workout without having to spin the #$%@ out of it. Should I have gotten the metal one? I've only used the Dyna-Flex pro model (25 lbs @9k) and it was weak.
In speed mode I'd be very surprised if you can score 50, because 61 is the lowest the counter will register...and that's if you spin the rotor at a speed of 1 revolution per second. Are you sure you've got the counter in the right mode??
Hahaha epic fail! That would only be 23 hz, and therefore would be just BARELY audible. If you had a brain, you wouldn't even need to see the counter to know how colossally wrong you are.
Spot on, it uses Gyroscopic Torque to exercise the arm. Faster you spin, more force it applies, harder it is to hold onto. Also a fun gadget. Best of all, when used often it totally cuts out RSI, Carpel Tunnel, Tennis Elbow...all sorts. I'm approaching 40 and my arms have never been in such good shape.
Hehehe, not mine, my g/f's. She was happy with it. Nearly had a hard time convincing her we needed something bigger when we got a HD LCD the other day though!! ;)
umm i live in canada so i dont no pounds, how much would that be in dollars, and i am just looking for a cheap one. And i also want to know if it hurts u a lot
I'm sure you'll be able to find an exchange rate on-line to tell you how many Canadian Dollars there are in one Great British Pound. And if you get a cheap one, chances are it won't be balanced and will vibrate and hurt you. NSD Powerballs don't hurt at all unless you overdo it, or allow the surface of the spinning rotor to burn you!
A gyroscope enclosed in a casing, (in this case Metal, in most cases plastic), which you spin faster and faster using increasingly fast gyrations of your wrist. Faster it spins, harder it is to hang on to.
how noisey do u think they are like can you talk over it for example? im 15 and im gonna get 1 im not to sure tho beacause my parents might think its too loud can u write back asap please? and good first try :D
The Metals are the quietest of the NSD Powerball range from Powerballs. com. They start incredibly quiet, then get a little noisier as they become worn in, but you can deinitely talk over them. (I'm not saying people won't get irritated if you spin on next to them for hours on end though!) ;)
hehehee! I cought my fingers and thumbs on mine today, first day of use.. never used one before! I got the Powerball light up one, I got 10.3k after I got the hang of it, is well chuffed (H)
It only hurts if you touch the spinning rotor. At 10,000 revs the surface is travelling at about 60mph! It can either burn your skin, or trap your skin in the mechanism. Ouch!

Nice going, the Metal usually helps with Plastic speed. Get yourself a lightweight Metal Raptor...that one helps too!

WTF is a powerball? that for exercise or something?
i imaigne its some kinds of thing that builds up tork using giroscopic motion or something.

You can get crap ones for £4, but they're rubbish. Get a proper NSD 250Hz Pro, they're much better and have a lifetime warranty.
