I read in an interview somewhere that he's thinking about focusing more on arranging than songwriting from now on. While I hope he makes many more albums, I love the string parts he comes up with to intro his songs and there's no doubt he has a real talent for it,

Wow, I haven't had a listen to this in a bit, but it is beautiful. This was my favorite song by him for a long time... still probably is. This album is especially fun if you are from Illinois, or even better, Chicago! Headphones in the city... perfect.

I agree. Sufjan Stevens has some of the greatest musicianship and musical creativity of our generation and pop stars with minimal talent get the glory.  The masses need to get some taste.
