This game is awesome :) If you don't like to grind, the quests are like never-ending but grinding in this game is epic, so easy to kill monsters and level up (pet assists you in fighting and levels up with u)
All MMORPGS are the same. All of them have shitty little quest and same classes plus some grinding. To enjoy a MMORPG you really have to start playing the game quite a lot. Personally I like FPS games better.
iunno, russ. take runescape and world of warcraft. now, pretend runescape is on the same scale as WoW and youd have 2 good games that appealed differently. also look at atitd, but atitd really deserves a sub-genre of rpg. but yes, in 95% of them you have to play then 4 hrs / day to get the full enjoyment out of them. reason for that is, in fps, we enjoy leveling up, the process of it, the actual game, rpgers just EXPECT to enjoy it then wait n grind til they realize the fun never comes

So, basically, Harvest Moon styled games.

Neverwinter Nights is credited as being the first non-text MMORPG ever, released in 1991, and plenty of games ripped that as well.

Everquest is indeed a MMORPG that came out before EQ, but it doesn't really look like WoW, gameplay wise. Neither does Neverwinter Nights.

Videos do not do this game justice, there's a lot more to this game. There's 9 different classes all with different skills, and you can get a mount as well. You can even get an eagle mount (I saw someone on an eagle) although I don't know if it's possible to fly using an eagle mount.
Karrpis u should be a retard to say that they all look like WoW...even this game has better graphics than WoW... i could simply buy the old strategy version of it and have more fun than that crappy MMO also most of the games came out before WoW so dont compare them

Lol this games the best u can get mounts all sorts of things other games dont have and plus todays there a event that multiplys the exp by 5 and if u have double exp x10

If your computer doesn't really suck I would suggest looking into Perfect World Entertainments games.
They have 3 MMORPGS so far that are very very fun and not something you would see in a free mmo.

Videos do not do this game justice, there's a lot more to this game. There's 9 different classes all with different skills, and you can get a mount as well. You can even get an eagle mount (I saw someone on an eagle) although I don't know if it's possible to fly using an eagle mount.

This game looks crap. Also, WoW came out a long time ago. Before ALOT of mmorpg came out. WoW is based on Warcraft which is quite old aswell

well the UI looks the same way yes ;D but INSIDE the game its completely diffirent. its easier keeping track of stuff in World of warcraft. also the japanese design is lame -.-
