Providing tax breaks to families and business owners, rebuilding infrastructure and hiring teachers, raising competitiveness, having a jobs counsel, asking REPUBLICAN congress to pass another 1+ trillion in cuts, providing tax breaks to businesses hiring new employees, having EQUITABLE and FAIR tax rates on all individuals thus helping to pay off the debt. How is that destroying the dollar?

@Luchik44 Yes I listened to the speech you sleeping idiot. How is providing tax breaks while increasing the money supply helping the public. It is a lie. Having a jobs cousel, hiring teachers, raising competitiveness. This is a job for the free market not the Govt. All they do is choke progress. They will also do this by printing money. As in 400 billion? A republican congress? They are bought and paid for. You will get your QE 4 but not by the people. By the corporations.

@Luchik44 And please get this through your thick scull. Equitable tax rates, tax breaks. If the money supply M3, continues to increase, all this smoke and mirrors IE tax breaks is a farce. The dollar that everyone holds loses its purchasing power. Thus you pay the inflation tax which will kill you everywhere you buy goods and services. Give me a dime and take a dollar. Yes this will pass but not by the peoples will. . When you add water to milk, and charge the same, it is theft!

Nice job Obama. Spoken with a reason and decency, as usual. My main question is, How could a RATIONAL person be a Republican? Niether party will hold up to a perfect ideal, but the current Republican party does shame to the alter of morality, in both social and economic terms. Ultimately there policy of tax breaks for biliionaire corporations, while we scrap social welfare programs is disguisting. I dont know one Repulican that ISNT either: Very greedy, misinformed, sociopathic, or all 3.

@jimmyp25 Not that you'll believe me but you only view them as irrational b/c you stop at "tax breaks for billionaire corporations". Conservatives simply use different means to the same ends. Just as it's hard for them to understand how spending money can save money, it's hard for liberals to understand how cutting taxes/social programs can lead to potentially effective privatized versions of the same. It's rational, the question is which method offers the best solution for our current problems.
