I don't know about you guys but this was a very unfair video because being a wow player myself the starter zones are the most boring but the high lvl quests and pvp are actually quit fun. I have not played AoC although I very much would like to.
@SuperLobsterful Well that's true but the video is made mostly for entertainment, but keep in mind that this is low level AoC footage aswell =) It's alot more action based late game then what you see in this video. WoW is a great game no doubt, but if you want hectic action and fun there's no comparison. And when it comes to end game PvP just forget about it, wow is so slow and boring in comparison it's just ridiculous, and not to mention item based instead of player skill based.
Aoc is a very good MMORPG, but funcom fail the game launch and fix too late bugs. Is Funcom developers that sucks, not AoC. Before judge a game, REALLY play it. :)

A fan of R.E.Howard and I have played both AoC and WoW. What it really comes down to is how much fun you have in the game. Best I can say about WoW is it is High Fantasy done right. If you like gritty realism, then AoC is your game. Also, combat in WoW is pretty straightforward. If you like INTENSE combat where you actually have to fight, then your choice is AoE. Kinda of partial myself to Aoe.
@ZyncheStrikesBack Only reason WoW is still successful is because a whole family can play cause you only push 1,2,3 and it doesn't take a newer computer to play it. AoC is still strong. In fact, I quit WoW due to boredom to pick up AoC till GW2 comes out. And wish I had done that much earlier cause the game has come way further than I think WoW has since launch.

This is not a Versus video. This is biased against WoW. First thing they show is some higher level AOC guy killing crap with epic music... the "comparison" is a level 1 human warrior trying to kill a cow which has nothing to do with WoW, cows are there, you can kill it... cool.

ok ich spiel auch wow und die AOC spieler werden sich das wahrscheindlich nicht durchlesen. die die kein spiel von den beiden haben aufgepasst: zocke wow bin (noch) lvl 82, aber er hat gerade die beschissensten teile des spiels gezeigt! wow macht nen heiden spaß. es kommen immer wieder neue q dazu und vorallem nicht so sinnlose wie hier dargestellt: alles abschlachten mit recht viel blut. es gibt viele verschiedene berufe zu erlernen und man findet schnell neue freunde! This is not a Versus video. This is biased against WoW. First thing they show is some higher level AOC guy killing crap with epic music... the "comparison" is a level 1 human warrior trying to kill a cow which has nothing to do with WoW, cows are there, you can kill it... cool.

Grafik: gut die grafik ist nicht die beste aber sie ist sehr sehr sehr gut für das das die welt so groß ist! und wenn man nen gscheiten computer mit guter grafikkarte hat und alles hochstellt kann das spiel schon einiges an grafik!

Quest: die q sind nicht so beschissen wie hier dargestellt! es gibt manchmal recht kniflige und gut ausgedachte q! manche schwer manche weniger schwer.es macht aufjedenfall richtig viel spaß zu q in wow. manchmal bekommt man bei q auch spezielle sachen die man sonst nie bekommen würde. da freut man sich z.B. doppelt. Kampfsystem: das was der hier gezeigt hat ist einfach lächerlich! wenn du deine klasse nicht spielen lernst verreckst du in wow beinhart! man muss sich mal alles durchlesen und sich mal ne gscheite rototion ausdenken. jeder boss in dungeon/raids hat ne andere spezialfähichkeit. kennst dich nicht aus verreckst du! ( das ist in den anfangsleveln nicht so schlimm da ist das noch nicht so ernst) und nicht so wie bei aoc: (teil 2)

ok ich spiel auch wow und die AOC spieler werden sich das wahrscheindlich nicht durchlesen. die die kein spiel von den beiden haben aufgepasst: zocke wow bin (noch) lvl 82, aber er hat gerade die beschissensten teile des spiels gezeigt! wow macht nen heiden spaß. es kommen immer wieder neue q dazu und vorallem nicht so sinnlose wie hier dargestellt: alles abschlachten mit recht viel blut. es gibt viele verschiedene berufe zu erlernen und man findet schnell neue freunde! (teil 1)

Hier mal ein paar unterschiede 1) Die Musik ist von AoC episch und und wow nur dahingedudelt, 2) das Kampfsystem in aoc ist einzigartig während es in Wow einfach nur ein einklicksystem ist 3) Die Umgebung und das Ambiente ist gigantisch es ist Detailgetreu und wunderschön gestalted während in wow du hin und wieder ein paar kantige Bäume
