All I can say is Your very lucky to get those blank planchet quarter blanks, I would never have even thought to bring them back in the first place, You got a very rare find, I would suggest not touching them, but put them in a coin protector case. And your 43 steel cents should also be in cases, (just my opinion),touching like that is not good, the oils from your fingers can tarnish them and ruin the gleeming shine. I know from exp. good luck with your collecting.
hay u selling any of your coins im interested or in trading rare old coins with you ill post a video response of my coins or i could pay you so what ya say?
A Roosevelt dime from 1943? They were not minted until 1946. In 1943 the Mercury dime was in circulation. Where did you fine a '43 Roosevelt? From 1938 to present the nickel has been 75% copper & 25% nickel. Was that 1957 silver nickel some kind of commemorative coin?
I've found some war nickels and some silver dimes & quarters in my change. A year ago I received a 1964 Kennedy half dollar in change from a convenience store. I have seen on different coin forums that it might be a good idea to keep all your nickels because the metal composition might be changed. Hoard them like folks did in 1965 when the silver was removed from US coins.
nice, the nickles that had silver in them were from 1942-1945, and about half of the 1942 ones didnt have silver, at least from what I understand, depends on what marks are on it...
yea im not going to but that coin wheaties are in a curiulated roll if they where un circulated i wouldnt be touching them the two 55 duoble dies aer uncurulated the steel cents are circulated but are in vf condition
