@carloextreme only because its more acurate. its againsed the law for the speedo to tell you your going slower than you are so they play it safe and tell you your going alittle faster.

Electric Oringe Ford Focus ST's Are beautiful, Be abit smoother on the transmission and brave to go abit higher on the revs before changing gear, Ford make the best cars, That Duratec 2.5L Sounds awesome, Volvo Realiy do make some awesome engines.

Yeah I belive they are refined Volvo v70 t5 engines, Very powerful turbocharged units, Very reliable aswell, mmmmm I'm more of a diesel lover tbh, love the ford TDCI engines, Esp the newer 1.6 litre tdci unit, very relible, and plenty of torque at lower RPMs, also awesome mpg figures, gotta love ford and Volvo.

TDCi's reliable!? Don't make me laugh. I work for enterprise all our TDCi Focuses Galaxies & Mondeo's are utter bollocks, 15-20% of our Ci's go wrong! We never get to see them because they are always at Ford being fixed unlike our CDTi Fiat engined Vauxhalls & PD Seats/VW's which never f*** up anywhere near as much. Injector seal leaks/broken flywheels/gone clutches is all I hear...

@1ns4ne1d10t I've heard bad things about the diesel Focuses too but the reason I changed from an Astra cdti to a focus st was because the Astra went through three EGR valves, a turbo, a DM flywheel plus a bunch of unrelated electricals. Be warned... Those fiat engines are brilliant right up to the point the first thing goes wrong, then it's continuous.

I don't class 3 dodgey EGR valves as a reliability problem, they can be bypassed easily, they are only an unessesary valve that sends emissions back through the engine. The Turbo & DMF are more iffy.

Not the one's the police use, they're 2.4 T5with 260 BHP, also the focus has the same engine as the Volvo V50 which is a 2.5 turbo with 221 bhp.

Lol i bet your family van couldnt even get to 200kmh, its roughly 125mph :p and to do it in 13 seconds is a rediculous statement! A honda civic type r does 0-100mph in 16s ish roughly the same as the focus st.

Why have people problems believing all these ST videos? Focus ST is pretty damn fast car, alright? Check the specs of the car (330+ Nm's of torque, stock!) and do not wonder if it's really in stock condition. Focus ST is a great car and very quick, I have to admit.
