He was not selling enough records for Atlantic records so they forced him to go main stream and if he didn't they wouldn't allow him to do anther album under Atlantic records so he released Lasers(which was not suppose to release). Lupe said he only liked words i never said, all black everything, and the show goes on. He did not like the album but he was proud of its progress.
