Bravo, that is certainly a difficult instrument to play esp with bending of notes and all. Don't think people realize how difficult it actually is to play harmonica. Keep it up though!

About 80$ but in china I bought 3 of those for only 30$ piece.

I bought 2 when I was in Beijing. A cheapy for about 50 yuan and an expensive one that cost over 300 yuan. They were both garbage. (But my diatonics were all good!)

No. My 'good' chromatic was a Golden Butterfly. I hated it because a few of the holes were very difficult to blow through, and some would suddenly burst open, like a valve.

But the Golden Butterfly diatonics are the best harmonicae I've ever owned.

blues harp is the diatonic harmonica. A chromatic harmonica has a thing to press on the side which allows to play all the notes without bending.

Which is easier to play?

I believe it is the chromatic, because with the diatonic you have to learn a technic of the mouth to bend the notes, and even then you need to own several harmonicas to be able to have all the notes of all the songs. With the chromatic you can have all the notes with one harmonica.

Buy a book method + CD and learn from there. After you can find music sheets for your favorite songs and try to play along a mp3/CD
