I just don't know about this one...I have questions.Why did he not drive to a police station? Why in the first eight hours of having it in fridge did he not call others, even neighbours to observe it? Where is the alien, just disappeared huh? Where's the link artifact? If the creature moved when inside the fridge( said on art bell) why does it not move in the video? Why did he not video tape the scream? why did it not scream when you were picking at its skull and brain?..etc.

The police wouldn't know what to do with it so they would call the FBI and then they would contact MIB or whatever we call them now. If you or anyone wants me to investigate the truth then ask me and I will get to the bottom of anything. @TwoGun79: The limbs don't look natural because our minds are not used to looking at out-of-proportion anthropomorphic features. The arms and legs look very thin & frail. But when you consider that this creature only weighed around 40 lbs or so, that shouldn't come as much of a surprise. The second thing that contributes to their odd appearance is the reflective thermal blanket. Its limbs look more natural in the forest footage where there's no thermal blanket to confuse the creature's outline.

I saw the item that Dr. Reed recovered and a demonstration. The item from my sources say it is of unknown origin but the demonstration of the item was a little questionable and even slightly cheesy. This is one of the best evidence of an actual capture of an EBTs. IMO the evidence is a mixed bag. The "evidence" of blinking eye can easily been recreated, after all hollywood fx has been doing it since the King Kong. What really strikes me is that the limbs are actually proportionate. This being could support its head with its neck unlike the common Big headed thin necked Gray aliens. The voice that I heard coming out of it is also is also intriguing.

The point is that your average Joe on the street, at least back in 1998 when this was first released to the public, did NOT have that kind of technology available to them. So, when you fully understand the situation, it doesn't seem as heartless...because he didn't believe he was hurting it at that point. I believe that he thought it was dead...so it doesn't surprise me he was doing the things he was doing.

This question has been addressed repeatedly by me...but I realize not everyone reads all the comments. The viewfinder on his camcorder was less than an inch square. So, as he was looking through the viewfinder, the blinking eye would have appeared so small that it would have been almost imperceptible...probably only comprising of a pixel or two at the most. Imagine looking at a single white pixel on your monitor and being able to tell anything at all about what it is.

I actually believe his story I was saying that IN THIS VIDEO, key works IN THIS VIDEO, it looks fake. This doll can easily be made based ON THIS VIDEO. Maybe in future videos if he's dissecting or doing other things it would look more real.

And I disagree with your opinion with regard to the "look" of the creatures legs. They may not look "normal" from an anthropomorphic sense...but they hardly look fake. Bird legs evolved in a gravity-based environment...and guess what - they don't look particularly sturdy. But they don't have to be...because, just like this creature, they don't WEIGH the same as a human. This creature weighed 45 lbs. So, it doesn't require a massive bone structure.

The "gold wrap" is nothing more than a common mountain hiker's thermal blanket. Anyone who hikes in the mountains at high elevations knows that they had better keep one handy. Rutter had the thermal blanket in his backpack. So he used it to wrap up the creature so he wouldn't have to physically touch it.

Fair question...I believe the 35mm Nikon camera he used to take all of his photographs had a time-delay mode. So he could have easily set the camera on a tripod and taken the picture while he was examining the creature.
