I love you B. My best friend died of AIDS in 1992. You would not believe or rather yes you would believe the IGNORANCE of his family. His dad would not let him take a bath at their home...he used to take baths at our house. Towards the end we just had him live with us because we did not want him to have to deal with their stupidity. I am so sorry for your loss, be ASSURED that your sister loves you still and that she is proud of you. So thankful for you. BE FEARLESS baby boy:)

yu made me cry a lil bit...i didnt lose a family member to aids but i do know how it feels to lose a close relative my om died when i was 10 of a brain anyeurism i am now 17 & we were real close...so just stay strong & know i respect yu 4 bein abele t talk about yur sister and i will keep yu and yur family in prayer :)

B u are absolutely right. The only exception of feeling this way is if the reason you got it is because you were hoein around and being careless. I feel that not even the common prostitute who has aids today should bare this pain, because most of them were doing this because they were made to feel that they had no choice but to do this bcuz it was the only thing that thought they had to offer. But if you're out their jus givin it up 2 any stranger who comes our way its time to change.
This breaks my heart !!! literally...because my aunt has AIDS and she is in a hospice right now and she is still holding on....so i feel his pain ! it's okay b scott.

B-scott you are brave. Sorry for your loss but let it be know she is indeed resting. I remember growing up ,alot of people in my family were dying of AIDS in front of me. Sick, i'd see them with skin lesions and always taking pills day after day after day. They were dropping like fly's right in front of me one after the other. It isn't easy seeing someone you know & love dying or knowing their sick. But, being by their side helping them, gives you AND them strength to keep going.

80s. I didn't find out until I was in my teens, that it was from complication of AIDS. from what I know they had no cermony, they just cremated him and spread his ashes. even though I was young I remeber how I loved him so much and wanted to see him. then i remeber days turning into weeks and months and he never came back.
It was so hard not to cry watching this lol. I lost a friend (i called him my brother) to this when i was 16, so that's 4 yrs ago. Still hurts like it happened 4 days ago. I'm right here with you B. This struck home B. A young man who was a member of my sports organization in the early 70's died of HIV. His older brother approached me then and requested that i allow his brother to be a member. (The strict rule was that you had to play a sport) His brother did not know that I was gay.Other members used to laugh at him because he could not kick the ball as a player should (This was in Trinidad and football, soccer,was the sport.) I lost track of him when I migrated to the USA .RIP Rennison.

B-scott you are brave. Sorry for your loss but let it be know she is indeed resting. I remember growing up ,alot of people in my family were dying of AIDS in front of me. Sick, i'd see them with skin lesions and always taking pills day after day after day. They were dropping like fly's right in front of me one after the other. It isn't easy seeing someone you know & love dying or knowing their sick. But, being by their side helping them, gives you AND them strength to keep going.

I feel your pain B. Scott, I was around 4 or 5 when my uncle died of AIDS in the late
80s. I didn't find out until I was in my teens, that it was from complication of AIDS. from what I know they had no cermony, they just cremated him and spread his ashes. even though I was young I remeber how I loved him so much and wanted to see him. then i remeber days turning into weeks and months and he never came back.

It was so hard not to cry watching this lol. I lost a friend (i called him my brother) to this when i was 16, so that's 4 yrs ago. Still hurts like it happened 4 days ago. I'm right here with you B. This struck home B. A young man who was a member of my sports organization in the early 70's died of HIV. His older brother approached me then and requested that i allow his brother to be a member. (The strict rule was that you had to play a sport) His brother did not know that I was gay.Other members used to laugh at him because he could not kick the ball as a player should (This was in Trinidad and football, soccer,was the sport.) I lost track of him when I migrated to the USA .RIP Rennison.
