  • Hope that things won't get worse versus the fear that they will.

  • 2009 - 2013 will forever be known as a dark time when the nation bottomed out, morally and economically. Thanks to Obama, the US is now the BROKEST NATION IN HISTORY. The next President will look like a giant in comparison to Obama, once the next pres starts making things right we will all know just how low Obama brought this country. Even with the billion$ of free advertising from the media Americans won't be fooled again into re-electing this mistake of history. He's taking his party down too.

  • ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.........................

  • lol obamas raging right now i bet..hes like fuck these guys...i wanna change stuff and there saying sure sure well change stuff heres a plan for a change in the next 5 years..and hes like im not gonna be president in 5 years ya dumb fux...lol i smell a change

  • Obviosly everyone here leaving bad comments about obama is not old enough to vote or he wouldent have been elected so grow up and learn what your talking about before you bash the most careing president you fools have ever had :P

  • @NateDOGG1651 And if they required an IQ test to vote, you would fail if that is what you believe. Plenty of people did not vote for Obama, close to half of the voters. Obama did not win by a land slide, so this idea that those who oppose Obama do not vote is VERY wrong. I have voted in the last three elections, and I would never vote Obama, EVER.

  • this dude talks allots, but aint do shit, he is so freaking faked, the most pussiest president in the Unted Stated history.

  • He's Fucken Hugo Chavez wake the hell up morons. My middle Finger to all the Idiot people who are still stuck on stupid and voted for this Clown. Fucken Donkey, that's what he is, He will be voted the worst elected official along with that died in the wool San Fran Sicko wack job from the bay area.

  • Ya, ya. Obama tells us it's Hope vs. Fear and he's the bastion of Hope. Then he has Janet Napolitano tell us to be afraid, very afraid. So afraid we let the government grope us and our kids at the airport. Same guy who said they had to pass bailouts and stimulus instantly without knowing where the money was going or the world as we know it would end. Who uses fear more?

  • I guess, (to use "President" Obamas words),

that his "racist" "gun-toting" "enemies" defeated him on Tuesday.

Enjoy your trip to Asia, (wink-wink). You may as well stay there, (pick a country), as you will return a lame, lame-duck remanent of someone who at one time mattered.

  • America's hope, Obama's fear.

  • Just remember vote Democrat, so the union rigged voting machines put you in as Republican votes. Get rid of the HNIC. Make it a White House again. Impeach the chimp!

  • I would recommend you take your own advice. Government taking ownership of a publicly traded or privately owned business is Socialism! Break out the Websters, go back & slap your proffessor for perverting the definition if that be the case of your stupidity! Nice for GM to have the power of the government & our tax dollars behind them in comparison to their competitors which must compete with an entity to big to fail! The folks at AIG, Goldman Sachs, and the union goons at GM love you!

  • the crowd is full of union workers and acorn workers, socialist love hussien cause he is great at playing up the the lazzy. but he is just screwing them too, for his own personal gains

  • @pyrstud We have public unions rioting in the streets of France because they are unwilling to retire at 62 instead of 60. France will go bankrupt but that is prefferable to them giving up what their unions have bought & manipulated for them over the years through politicians that do their bidding. Our democrats have done the same to us here, they have enabled these unions to much power and unreasonable unsustainable rewards.

  • Go ahead AMERICA turn your back on Barack Obama. He's still going to live comfortably while you and your kids are scrambling for crumbs the republicans throw at you like dogs......Yeah they talk about me like a dog is a phrase blacks use....it quite hillarious when other people dont get it. Blacks say that all the time from kids on up.....Not quit talking about me like a dog! hee hee ow

  • Freeze all spending unrelated to National Security - the one place that's bloated out the ass, he want's to keep on funding. The Pentagon can't even account for the money it spends / I mean, steals. In 2001, right before 9,11, the Pentagon made 2.3 trillion dollars vanish into thin air. An auditor that tried to find some of the money was laughed at and asked why he cares about this. If Obama is serious about this countries future, he better do something about the fraud & abuse of our taxdollars.

  • Take away his carefully handpicked audience and replace them with average citizens randomly picked from off the streets, and I guarantee that this ass clown would get hissed, booed and heckled right off the stage.

From forcing the HC bill down our throats and pissing away the treasury, to suing his own country for trying to protect itself from a foreign invasion, this bastard is the worst POS to ever con his way into the White House

  • Pres. Obama: If Election a Referendum on Economy, We're in Trouble. Obama, you think so? And you all thought Bush was an idiot, if so Obama is a village.

Obama: Letting Americans Keep More of Their Money Is Fiscally Irresponsible. As it turns out, anyone who voted for the Obamunist was fiscally irresponsible. When is he going to give all his away to those who don't deserve it because their lazy and stupid? He's been making us do it for the last two years?

  • Obama said, “I believe government should be lean; government should be efficient. I believe government should leave people free to make the choices they think are best for themselves and their families, so long as those choices don’t hurt others.”

It didn't freeze over, but I hear they had ice cubes in h_ll for 6.66 minutes........

  • Dear President Obama

Thank you for taking on the Presidency. Thank you for giving up your life to be the Leader of the Free World.

    From your loyal supporter!

NOW LETS SEE YOU KICK SOME GOP ASS

  • Lord please allow me this one sin to knock out just one teabagger!!! I'm so sick of their sick easily manipulated minds. Damn you should have your head examined if you think Bush is better than President Obama. Thank you and goodnight!

  • Ok you looney teabaggers, right-wing extremists......lets put on the boxing gloves step in the ring and settle this like real men and real women. All the progressives, and dems out there listen up. Lace up your boots, and head to the polls, we will not under any circumstance allow the Repubs any power ever again!!!!!!

  • @yeahokay1500 You say you hate Bush, but like Obama. I find that amazing as Obama has continued so many of Bush'r policies. Patriot Act, continued occupation of Afghanistan, bailouts, deficit spending, absolute lies & unfullfilled promises.

I voted for Obama but am at least able to admit when I'm wrong perhaos that is why most people are going Independant?

  • @joe035 It is amazing you dont know all the good policies he has passed. Right, unglue your big dumbo ears away from FOX NEWS and TALK RADIO. Then maybe read the bills that have been passed in the last 2 years. GO AHEAD TURN YOUR BACK ON OBAMA..........Republicans never turned their backs on BUSH BITCH

  • @yeahokay1500 I'm not a Republican, I am an Independant. Please enlighten me as to what Bills that you feel Obama has passed that will be good for the nation? Republicans turned their backs on Bush as well as Independants, that's why McCain lost to Obama & many senators & represenatives lost their seats. Please prove me wrong!

  • ...If we could just bypass all those generational brainwashed Republicans that are part of the middle class that have no new and good ideas and not a single independent thought.

...If they could only look at the facts that the rich are not paying their share, and a commensurate share, of their taxes. Too bad, as the President says we are still going to invest in our country. WE CANNOT GO BACK TO THE SAME, OLD DEADLY PATH that put us into a recession. Poison yourself, because we want to leave u.

  • @GodChristLord Trickle down economics were a disgrace I agree. The realestate bubble created this recession "depression". Republican congress & Bill Clinton removing glass steagull & liberals advocating people with no money for down payments & poor credit were entitled to loans they did not earn. The libs made a lot of brokers & builders very rich, now everybody else has to pay the price.

  • Come on 'Joe,' that bad loans for the 'unqualified' were not from libs. or cons., they were from the greedy in general implicit in our capitalist economic system. If we in the middle could drop the 'libs and cons.' jargon, we would get somewhere.

  • @GodChristLord No Bill Clinton & the democrats wanted & still want people to be able to own their own homes. They pushed these programs through Fannie & Freddie blocking any efforts to undermine responsible behavior in these loans! See Barney Frank Maxine Waters block senate sub commitee investigation of fannie/freddie on youtube before the bubble burst. Capitalism works!! It is the perversion by politicians & illogical business practices which allowed this disaster to happen!

  • Think USA .............Obama = Progress

Best wishes from switzerland to U.S. :)

  • @bassfresh Obama is a poser and a one time mistake we won't make again. Sorry about your nobel prize, it has lost credibility here giving it away to a guy who has only divided this country much like Bush our last degenerate.

  • Think USA ......... Progress = Obama

Best wishes from Switzerland to the US :)

  • The HOPE for dog-man has run out -

  • It's ironic to me that a man who has such large ears could be so tone deaf to the American people. While Obama lends Pmex the largest oil company in Mexico 1 billion dollars we cannot drill in the gulf? Come Nov 3rd he will still not get it right but we will straighten him out.

  • @dkkght46 STFU!!! My goodness, this is an enormous mess Bush left Obama, I promise you Obama didnt know it was going to be this bad when he BEGAN his run for the Presidency........this mfo left the Beautiful man a mountain to climb over, why dont you help instead of talking about throwing dems out. FUCK THE REPUPUBLICANS ALL OF THEM CAN DRINK CANCER

  • @yeahokay1500 I am a democrat and 2 years into his term its his mess now. Dont blame W he just drove the car off the cliff and Obama hopped in and stepped on the gas pedal and now its his mess idiot.

He better get a better lyricist too!

EVERYDAY IN THE WEEK I'M IN A DIFFERENT CITY

IF I STAY TOO LONG PEOPLE TRY TO PULL ME DOWN

THEY TALK ABOUT ME LIKE A DOG

TALKIN' ABOUT THE CLOTHES I WEAR

BUT THEY DON'T REALIZE THEY'RE THE ONES WHO'S SQUARE

  • @yeahokay1500 With less than an hour before President Obama's scheduled speech, 75 seats remained empty. Most likely they had to pay the students. Hey! Obama actually MIGHT have created or saved 75 jobs! Is the only places obama to give speeches any more is a UNION MEETINGS? The only Obama speech Americans want to hear is a resignation. How the mighty have fallen!! And yet he rambles on...... what a bore. Maybe he should have gave his speech at the unemployment office. Plenty of people there.

  • @yeahokay1500 Obama has reduced the Presidency of the U.S. and our standing in the world to a laughingstock. hummmm, we TRIED this same thing last year, REMEMBER how that went. So, SINCE it didn't work then, let's do it again. Obama should have been true to spirit and recruited three dozen illegal immigrants to sit in camera range. Yeah, the ones you see at Home Depot. This is a perfect example of someone who has lost his magic touch. His lies are no longer tolerated. Why?

    Common Sense!

  • "@dkkght46 Obama has reduced the Presidency of the U.S. and our standing in the world to a laughingstock."

Dubya did that with his, "I know how hard it is to put food on your family." and "Nukular". Not to mention his claiming "God told me to invade Iraq".

It was Conservatives that were the ones who damaged America's image when they defended torture.

  • For sure the policies of the last decade got way out of hand, the war, and then the crash. But we have a real problem -- we are out of gas (oil) folks, the price is stuck at $75 a barrol. And each time the price inchs up to $80 or more something goes way wrong in the world. Growth as was defined as more stuff, bigger jobs, jetting around the globe, SUV, the drive-in dystopia American has become and the world is trying to replicate from Africa to China is not going to work. Transformation.

  • Nobody believes you any more DOG MAN.

  • @frwgt350net Wrong.

  • @cstrosser My bad tosser still believes you

  • I am donating $10 to the Democrats for every teabagger comment on here bashing President Obama. Keep it up righties

  • @DoinkTheClown lol at that rate your gonna be broke :p

  • @Doink

Usually Prowrestling fans recognize the political con we face

Hulk Hogan and Andre really aren't mad at each other, it shows to make you cheer or boo but the bottom line is they both work for Vince.

Just like Obama and Palin don't really have any practical policy differences.

They are cutting promo's to hype a fake fight so you take that $10 and give it to the democrats it benefits the same people.

  • @DoinkTheClown It's the Tea party its not the righties or the lefties It's Americans

  • @DoinkTheClown oh why don't you donate, those dollars to a needy family, give to a food bank?? the DNC is filthy rich.

  • @DoinkTheClown

I don't believe you. A dare like that would bankrupt even Bill Gates in about four days.

  • @DoinkTheClown I am fucking each Democrat cunt I know ( and there's a lot who want me) in the ass until they scream for more. Obummer is a one term disaster worse than Carter. Watch what happens tomorrow I'll have my dick in the ass of one of your elitists cunts while I'm whatching the dorks on MSNBC try to justify their bigoted rhetoric.HAHAHAHA

  • @DoinkTheClown

Congratulations on the raise in your welfare check.

  • @arslp Funniest comment ever on UTUBE

  • @DoinkTheClown Since you posted this, your $10 is worth about 8. And yes, you are a clown.

  • Righties blab and moan, had the government all to their own, dishonest to the bone, Bush's hypocrisy had shown, the people pulled the plug, pulled out the GOP's rug, now republicans whine, because things aren't so fine, it's your party's policies that put you in this bind. Conservatives are a joke, tea-baggers can all choke, on the astroturf they smoke, acting like they actually think they'll save the country from going broke.

  • "You didn't elect me to just read the polls and figure how to keep myself in office... you didn't elect me to avoid big problems, you elected me to do what was right... and as long as I am president, that's exactly what I intend to do."

    Pure win.

  • obama looks like a such a clown. and so full of it.

  • please vote for republicans this november so that we can go back to the glorious days of unpaid wars, less regulation for big corporations and of course my favorite tax cuts for millionaires. i might not be a millionaire but i sure love to see those millionaire get a tax cut.

  • @cynicalnihilist

If we still have a patriot act, troops in Iraq and anything signed in to law that attacks net neutrality I will vote for whoever is running against him.

So far Obama has done nothing other than feign outrage and bullshit.

  • @JimboTHC

you would vote for sarah palin? or romney?

look, i am disappointed with him on lot of issues too but i don't let that confuse me with that the other side stands for and what they would do if they were in power.

i agree with you on patriot act and iraq.

on net neutrality, well, obama is for it and wants to secure it with law. its the guys on the other side who want "unregulated internet" just like they want "unregulated wall street" and "unregulated insurance companies"

  • @cynicalnihilist I'm voting Anti-incumbent from top to bottom of the ballot.

There all puppets and Obama is not trying by choice. He is a shill.

"Instead the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy."

    C. Quigley, Bill Clintons mentor.

  • @JimboTHC

so by your own logic you are going to vote one for "puppet" over another puppet (b/c they are all the same afterall, right?)

if you really believe what you say then why not vote for the candidate who you think represents you. if you cant find one just don't vote.

  • @cynical nihilist What when the highest unemployment was at 7% now it's at (9.6 or in Ohio 14% spent 3.5 Trillion and it's the same and all our leader wants to do more is Spend and blame it on the Republicans . Lets See Democrats Have the President, they have the Congress and the Senete they have total control and he blames Republicans he sounds like a little kid and it's not my fault . Or how about a President suing our own state for making a law that is the same as OUR FEDERAL LAW !

  • @ekjohndeer You righty's are all the same. Blaming Obama for the current job numbers without talking about the Republican policies that got us here is like blaming the moon for being to bright without mentioning that it just reflects the light from the sun.

We were bleeding jobs at up to 700,000 a month under Bush. During the 8 years he was in office the economy didn't gain a single job, not one.

We have made gains every month for the past 8 under Obama. Not enough but not -700,000 a month.

  • @ekjohndeer And as for the Dems holding the Senate...not senete...you obviously have no understanding of how laws are passed in this country. Countless bills have passed the house and gone to die in the Senate because of a 2/3 majority rule that allows the 41 R's to block the 59 D's on everything. I suggest you research the number of Filibusters used in this congress compared to history before you make horribly uninformed comments like that again.

  • @ekjohndeer

getting out of recession is slow my friend esp. if the hole is deep (umm...i wonder how we got here)

i know you are impatient but if you want instant gratification you can try ectasy. real world is complicated and operates at a much slower pace (unfortunately)

secondly, you must confuse obama with a king. because in our country even if you hold congress and presidency one rogue guy from the other side can spoil the party.

  • @cynicalnihilist

Obama supported giving 8 trillion dollars to wall street to make sure AIG, Goldman Sachs and Bear Stearns could go back to predatory lending right along with Bush during the transition.

Secondly he appointed Timothy Geitner secretary of the treasury who is about as horrible of a Wall Street crook as you can get.

Appointing Geitner to deal with economic policy is like appointing a pedophile to run a day care center and speaks volumes about who's pocket Obama is in.

  • @JimboTHC Instead of using emotional words, give facts facts facts. I'm so sick of hearing things like this. Comparing the Sect. of the Treasury to something so disgusting? You should really be ashamed of yourself.

  • Whats disgusting is people giving 8 trillion dollars to foreign owned corporations to enable them to continue there criminality.

And then Puppet Obama has the nerve to stand up there and feign outrage about it.

Geitner appointed by Obama being involved in economic policy is like a pedophile in a day care center.

  • @cstrosser -- high school grad - no doubt!

  • @cstrosser I think he actually set out his policies quite well. for example 19:15

  • Cleveland, Toledo, Dayton. You know why not Cincy? Because there is no discernible middle class there. WHAT A SHAME!

  • @GodChristLord Then you don't know cincy. I lived there until last year, and there is a deffinite middle class there, but there are few Democrats there, that is why Obama did not got there, he could not fill a school auditorium with Democrats in Cincinnati.

  • @usam1981 I unfortunately know Shits-innati if it has not changed from the early 90's. It is a bad place to live with no discernible middle class since they made their bed with the politics they chose. Why does the President not visit that place? It is evident why because they lack a vivid and distinct working middle class. What I saw was a place made up of the haves and the have-nots. BAD!!!

  • @GodChristLord You know nothing about Cincinnati, and the towns around it, idiot, if that is your opinion, I lived there 28 years, so I know you are wrong. Most of Cincinnati is Middle class, and we had very few High class areas. Why don't you go into the subburbs, and you would know you are full of shit. Obama would not visit there, because he would not have support there.

  • Wake up asshole. There is no working middle class there! Even you moved out. Obama refused to go to such a place; upstate there are working middle class Americans.

  • @Sunshineatdusk Obama refused to go there for other reasons. I know there is a middle class there, because where I grew up, that was what I was surrounded by. You know nothing about Cincinnati, while I lived there, so please shut up, and stop being Bigoted. I moved out for other reasons, and I still concider Cincinnati to be home, even if I don't live there any more.

  • Boehner cannot pull his shit in the northern Ohio, but he can pull his crap in Shits-innati, Ohio.

  • @PatriotWatchUSA Only democrats were invited. Paid government and labor workers just love him.

  • @joe035 That's right Joe, the middle class was invited.

  • @GodChristLord LOL I'm tired of the stereotypes that the rich are republicans and the poor or middle class are democrats. Democrats are working just as hard to destroy the middle class as they are the rich to create more impoverished dependants.

  • @joe035 How? I have never heard of Democrats destroying the middle class. How?

  • @GodChristLord It's okay they're a lot of misguided people who think the democratic party represents the midlle class. Obama & Hillary have made claims of just that.

Fortunately the middle class are typically well educated people who are small business owners & proffessionals & are paying attention to how the governments policies will effect their well being directly.

The polls for November elections are reflecting just how much the democrats are in fact destroying the middle class.

  • @joe035 Have you ever got a phone call asking your political opinion. I bet you never got a call, or maybe just one. ...So many are not taken into account, just like in our economy. That is why we have this President to permanently bury Bush and to repair and 'grow' a bad economy. The 'top 2%' is no myth.

  • @GodChristLord Bush was a disaster, Obama is a continuation of the same failed policies that got the rino's kicked out. Emulating FDR is not the way to fix this economy, FDR increased taxes and unemployment never went below 14% until we went to war with Japan. Obama cannot do what FDR did besides we do not have the ability or will to carry anymore debt.

  • @joe035 The Dems are destroying the middle class? "YOU ARE REALLY DUMB, FOR REAL!

  • @yeahokay1500 You have bought into a common misconception of the truth. Individuals making between $25,000 to $100,000 are concidered middle class which depending on the model make up 25% to 60% of our over all working population. Democrats are the ones who continue to raise the costs of public services! Wealth moves to the environment that best helps sustain it, so the burden will always be passed onto the middle class. Democrats will never try to squeeze blood from a turnip.

  • @joe035 Reagan Economics made the top rich and it trickled down, then the top got greedy, and started thinking of new and exciting ways to gut the middle class and poor folks like fish. MARK MY WORDS. THIS COUNTRY WILL BECOME THIRD WORLD IF THE RICH BASTARDS DONT STOP RAPING THIS COUNTRY'S PEOPLE!!!!!!!! America cannot withstand corporate GREED! It will not. and we are suffering because of the WAR IN IRAQ. AMERICA REEP WHAT IT SOW!

  • @yeahokay1500 Reagan ended the Carter era inflation, ended the cold war & reestablished the moral & confidence of the country. Unemployment peaked in 1982-3 (the same time the tax cuts were being implemented) and then dropped steadily down to 5.2% in 1989. The tax rate cuts and economic expansion cut unemployment significantly by 4.3% after it had increased by 2.5% from 1980-2. Obama is right to cut taxes but he also needs to decrease government.

  • @joe035

"Unemployment peaked in 82-83, the same time tax cuts were being implemented"

    Nope.

    Kemp-Roth tax cuts: August 81 (unemployment 7.4%)

Unemployment continued to rise, peaking at 10.8% in Dec. 82, not below 10% again until July 83.

Inflation was crushed by Paul Volker jacking the Fed rate to 20% in 1981. Unemployment rate mirrored interest rates.

Reagan cut taxes while INCREASING spending (military 5% to 6% GDP), tripling the National Debt (0.99 trillion '81 to 2.8 trillion '89)

  • @TrollBuster9090 I was wrong on the date of the tax cuts, thanks.

  • @joe035

    You're welcome.

  • "R's" are not for the working middle class. "R's" will always unscrupulously support the wealthy as they continue to lay off workers. "R's" are the enemy of the working middle class. I can balance a checkbook, I don't need that party. Do you?

  • Every profession, besides some professional occupations like, doctors, lawyers, etc. should have the choice of being unionized.

If you are too soft some union members will be glad to help you against the goliath Corporate America.

  • If you are not for unions, the heart and muscle of the working middle class, wipe Boehner's ass after he uses the toilet.

  • @GodChristLord

I wouldn't call unions the heart and muscle of the working middle class now that they've been beaten down to less than 10% of the work force by 30 years of Shock-Doctrine, low wage conservatism. At this point we're just dealing with the politics of resentment from people who are working three part time jobs with no benefits, and are just looking for a healthy dose of schadenfreude to make them feel less miserable. Projection.

  • @TrollBuster9090 Good, spread the word if you know it. We will increase their numbers and get them going again.

  • @GodChristLord Didn't the auto union opt out of the healthcare bill because it wasn't in the best intertest of its members? It must be nice having representation outside of those we put into political office to represent you and protect you from getting fucked, & then advocate in favor of the harm it will do for the rest of us. God bless America as long as you belong under to a union, right?

  • Thank you Mr. President. "F" every last one of you scum "R's"!!!

  • Obama wants to emulate FDR in fixing our economy. FDR tripled taxes on those who had jobs & never brought unemployment down throughout his entire presidency below 14%. Yet FDR is loved by liberals for buying votes from the unemployed while creating burden on those who worked. Yet the New Deal benefited some it only perlonged the depression. FDR was tyranical too if he couldn't get the Constitution to work in his favor he proposed more supreme court justices to vote his way. History repeats!

  • @joe035

"FDR never brought unemployment down below 14%."

You're obviously a graduate of Beck University and Woods/Shlaes/Rockwell Graduate School. FDR INHERITED an unemployment rate of 25% from Hoover in 1933, and by December 1941, before the start of the war, it was under 10%. I know Freepers have trouble with math, but 25%-10% is a 15% drop in unemployment thanks to the New Deal. (Feel free to quote the 'recession' of 1937 now.)

  • @TrollBuster9090 That's right he allowed the Japs to attack Pearl Harbor which ultimately ended the depression. Unemployment was above 14% until we went to war. Roosevelt crippled industry with taxes, the new deal did not bring down unemployment war did!

  • @TrollBuster9090

"The Great Depression was the first time in the history of the U.S. that wages did not fall during a period of significant deflation." Hoover though a Republican was pro labor like your boy FDR which in turn played a role in our inability to recover. The new deal getting us out of a the depression is a common lie still proffessed by many liberal academics today. Amazing that FDR a socialist is shamefully viewed by a poll of academics to be the greatest president ever.

  • @joe035

"The new deal getting us out of a the depression is a common lie still proffessed by many liberal academics today."

All I did was point out the fact that unemployment was over 25% in 1933 when the New Deal started, and averaged 9.9% in the year of 1941, with the war starting in the LAST MONTH of that year. Sorry if facts have a liberal bias and faerie tales have an Austrian one.

    bls. gov/cps/cpsaat1. pdf

(Feel free to claim that the leebrulz in the Stats Bureau fudged the numbers.)

  • @TrollBuster9090 Roosevelt called upon the US to be "the great arsenal of democracy," and supply war materials to the Allies. The Lend-Lease bill became law on MARCH 11, 1941. During the next 4 years, the U.S. sent more than $50 billion worth of war materiel to the Allies. In 1939, US had about 356,000 in our military. The United States used draft laws to build their armed forces 6 mil. The US Selective Service Act became law on SEPTEMBER 16, 1940! WAR ended high unemployment New Deal didn't!

  • @joe035

"The US Selective Service Act became law on SEPTEMBER 16, 1940!"

Try again. The Selective Training and Service act was a lottery draft capped at a maximum of 900 000. Large scale conscription didn't happen until 1942.

Percentage of workforce employed by military:

    1940: 1.8%

    1941: 8.5%

    1942: 25.7%

    1943: 39.4%

    1944: 40.3%

  • @TrollBuster9090 Your claim was that the New Deal ended the depression & high unemployment. I provided you the exact dates of the selective service act, and the lend lease bill to prove it was actually the war that brought us out & not FDR's New Deal. Obama wants to emulate FDR's New Deal this makes sense to you?

  • @joe035

The assertion that Obama wants to emulate FDR makes no sense given that FDR was actually a progressive, while Obama's policy issues have been farther right than Eisenhowers, Nixon's and Bush Sr's. By historical standards Obama is center-right. It's only because the Overton window has been pushed so far to the right in the last 15 years that sophists can get away with painting him as a socialist.

  • @TrollBuster9090 We own GM thanks to Obama so why shouldn't he be painted a socialist? LOL you don't get any further left then Obama! Do you really want to debate this?

  • @joe035

Winston Churchill nationalized the coal mining industry, created labor exchanges and the National Insurance Act (pensions), and started the process of creating the socialized National Health Service.

Nixon brought in wage and price controls and nationalized Amtrak.

Bush Sr. bailed out the entire savings and loan industry and his son bailed out the entire banking industry. Yes, we own shares in GM thanks to Obama, but also shares in AIG, Goldman Sachs and CITI Bank thanks to Bush.

  • @joe035 The bailout was an emergency measure, and is not remotely socialist, considering that we will not be keeping our ownership in GM. A basic government class would clear this up in a jiffy, but I suppose most people haven't had that experience.

RECOMMENDATION: Go to your local community college, and take Gov't 101. Learn about socialism, communism, etc. After educating yourself, come back & tell us if you still think Obama AND our prev. presidents are socialists. Should only cost $400...

  • Roosevelt called upon the US to be "the great arsenal of democracy," & supply war materials to the Allies.

  • Way to go President Obama! I support you 100%!

  • @harrissimo YEAH we love you you traitor.

We want paper work or we will be demanding the DEATH PENALTY

  • Boehner has that dumb jock demeanor and vacant Palin/Bachman stare that reminds me of less happy times in high school.

Republicans are acting like the fall is a shoe in. Don't count on it. Most of America is hurting and has become wise to the way the Republicans use race and culture to divide us from our common interests.

Hey Republicans, call me when you have clue about governing. Solutions, not slogans. :)

  • @1000orsowords so you are a democrat because republicans remind you of the kids who kicked your ass in highschool? that isnt very rational. kind of an emotional response.

  • @GrandArchitect3D didn't kick my ass, just made me nauseated when i had to witness their stupidity.

  • @1000orsowords you must be the biggest pussy in the world then if you let your highschool experience shape your political beliefs. either that or really fucking stupid.

  • @1000orsowords Yeah you neo-cons.... Check out these PROGRESSIVE policies they are great. 2 TRILLION dollars not counting Fannie & Freddie in less than 2 years. I have NEVER seen RACE exploited like I have with this administration. You must be on SEIU's clock but you are dumb as shit

  • @1000orsowords LOL you advocate the democrats as if they had a solution.. Emulating FDR isn't it!

  • Looks like Barry found himself a new boogieman in John Boehner. I guess he finally got the memo Bush bashing doesn't work.

  • socialism is not an american value.

  • @GrandArchitect3D I love how he says Republicans are against prexisting conditions and are for expensive healthcare. I am self employed make 60,000

and can't afford healthcare outside of catastrophic for myself or my family, so I'll probably end up paying his fine. This guy & anyone to lazy to read that bhill are true assholes.

  • @joe035 you make 60,000 you are a democrat. if the original health bill would have made it pass the repub's you would have health care.

  • @markus1188 I'm an Independant not a democrat regrettably I voted for Obama.

This Healthcare bill is great for those making under $20,000 as they will recieve free care. "medicaid" It would have been better to abolish all group plans let them compete for our business as individuals.

  • @GrandArchitect3D mr. 3d u dont have a clue what socialism . its police ,fighters, library's.social security ,medicare. wake up that just a word to scare people with American value. RICH MAN PROPAGANDA

  • @markus1188 it has been shown that the private sector can provide all these services cheaper and more effectively. you are convinced that you need the government for your own survival. well you deserve what you get.

  • @GrandArchitect3D the private sector can provide all this cheaper at what cost no medical no retirement no future . i hate big brother but it already here it just a scare tactic to steal a vote . socialism terrorism, communism it just another ism .

  • @markus1188 if we lived in a free society you would have the opportunity to accumulate enough wealth to survive without the government. you dont need the government at all. nobody does. you would think people could see that but they are so afraid of freedom they choose not to.

  • @GrandArchitect3D Anyone that says you don't need the government does not believe in capitalism. Any capitalistic system needs a separate government that, at a minimum, can ensure property rights, settle disputes and issue legitimate currency as a store of value.

    Without that you have anarchy.

  • @GrandArchitect3D omfg, you're hilarious. The private sector can provide police, firefighters and libraries better than the public sector? Newsflast, firefighting used to be a private enterprise in this country until people realized that firefighting companies would start fires and then extort payment from people and their neighbors whose houses were about to burn down. Clearly the incentives were all wrong.

  • @markus1188 Most of what you talk about is paid for at the LOCAL level. Thats not socialism. When the Federal Government pays for everything it is.

  • @markus1188 That's like saying we have a military so were socialists. Infrstructure and public services have NOTHING to do with socialism. Look up the definition. Owning companies like GM, AIG, etc is where Bush & Obama crossed the line as if any business should be allowed to be to big to fail. SSI/medicaire is a form of socialism as well as this HC bill because it is not voluntary to belong to these programs, even though HMO's are privately held companies.

  • @GrandArchitect3D I enjoy how these liberals interpret infrastructure & public services as if we are already a socialistic nation.
