  • ANYONE ELSE THINK THE YANKS ARE COWARDS FOR ATTACKING IRAQ? THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 911, YET THEY INVADE A WEAK NATION. THEY DON'T ATTACK NORTH KOREA OR IRAN. BLOODY CHICKEN SHITS!!!!!!!!!

  • @antirepublican123 Because Great Brittian wasn't part of the invading force? Yeah, that's what I thought.

  • @antirepublican123 You underestimate Iraq prior to the US invasion. Before the war Iraq was in the top 10 for having the largest Army in the world. Plus if you really are Canadian your pointing a finger at yourself. Plus you seem to love war, Iran and North Korea are a threat yes, but we have no reason to go to attack them.

  • @antirepublican123 Shut the hell up you have no idea what your talking about you stupid son of a bitch, we arnt cowards thats for damn sure and we are waiting for the north koreans to make a move once they do we wont hesitate top send in the marine corps and kick some ass. the camel jokeys made a move and look what happond to them we invaded blew shit up and killed their leader.

  • If the sun is up, why use night vision. Unless there wasn't that much light. Then I completely understand

  • @Flaggedagain they were fighting in the night and then the next day they came to see how many they killed and check damage.

  • DUDE MY UNCLE WAS IN THIS BATTLE. GO SGT. BATTLES

  • America sure has prospered and benefited from the twenty years of conflict with Iraq. Look at how great the economy is doing as it struggles to pay the pentagons war budget every year.

  • Fuck this shit im going home!

  • Can't wait until these brainwashed robotic homos return stateside and start killing their countrymen on obama's orders.

  • @MuammarAlGathafi those are people your talking about. You know, Kids, fathers, uncles. And obviously what you have stated makes no sense at all.

    So yeah, shut up.

  • this is liek call of duty modern warfare 2 !!!! I am level 68 8th prestige.

conspiracy theorist, get a fucking life instead of instigating shit online. you'll always be a coward, and always scared. you FAIL

  • show me evidence and recorded documents of civilians being killed on purpose

  • so your for abortion but agaisnt killing terrorists? I guess i know which one i want to do

  • I got friends and family who have went over there and they all tell me that they would go back in a heart beat. I have wanted to join since i was like 10 and i jus had a friend who joined up and plan on joining up right outa high school u can get into the marines at 17 with a parent signature right? advice?

  • You need a high school diploma or on rare cases a GED, but if you have those than yeah you can enlist at 17. if you don't yet have your diploma, you can do the delayed entry program till you get it

  • Give em hell boys! SEMPER FI.

  • OORAH!

  • ive been wantin to join the marines since i was like 10 ik its yung but at tat age i jst said the military then wen i was bout 12 i decided i wanna be a marine im 14 does anyone have any advice for me cuz i have a small idea of wat im getttin into but not a solid picture

  • you are either the ones getting shot at and killed or your getting shot at and killing thats it basicly, marines are trained to do one thing, kill if you want a more diverse military job join the army they have more than just killing training. but contact your recruiter for more accurate details trust me i did and it sounded better than i thought it did at first

  • You're a moron; we are trained to kill, and we're damn good at it, but we have MOS' too. Not every Marine goes outside the wire. Join the army if you want to be nasty and have the very basic of training, but by all means, don't put your life on it. If you want to come back home, join the Marines, we've lost fractions in Afghanistan compared to what the army has.

  • your 14, just wait, and while you are waiting, keep thinking about it. And once you are at that age when you can join, do so only if your heart is 100% on it. Whichever you decide, there is nothing wrong with it.

  • look man read up on your stuff im 16 and i know exactly what i want when i sign up for the marines and i know how im going to get it and what it takes to acheve it

  • no i hope to acheve continued freedom for my county so pricks liek you can diss our military

  • @HiSpAnIcHeAt23

if u look for ACTION , ADVENTURE and FUN then play "call of duty" , because in the real battlefield u will forget everything about courage and honor , the only thing u will think of is how painful is DEATH

  • but what if you like guns and the army then we shouldn't play call of duty right

  • @toastrocks6589

    Ya...

But notice that if u like army then u like to face ur enemies and kill them , army means to be ready to get killed at anytime , specially if u face muslims the greatest honor for them is to bomb themselves to kill u .

  • @toastrocks6589 then play airsoft or something. My dad went through the marines. Its not all Glamour like people think it is. Not everyone ends up a hero. Many just end up dead

  • @HiSpAnIcHeAt23 Marine core? I can tell what youll get into, more hard work than most people can even imagine.

  • @HiSpAnIcHeAt23 Sounds like you want to be in the military for the right reason (ie because you want to. not college money or anything like that) Here's my 2 cents. If you want to go straightleg grunt go USMC. Make no mistake, it will suck, a lot. Otherwise, Army is not a bad option either. Essentially, the army has more options. (you can still go straight leg in certain army units if you want). (You can also transfer to the army from the marine corps).

  • @HiSpAnIcHeAt23 if you want to be made a Marine then the best thing you can do is learn its history, learn its weapons, ect... just keep learning. there is no way to explain the 'whole picture' even on you tube you can see action but you will never be able to feel it. without being there yourself

  • @HiSpAnIcHeAt23 sweet dude im about to go to bootcamp on sept 7th good luck dude

  • If your going into the marines then prepare for frontline Hell because your going in first ! Better be ready to trash your memories of video game war because it's not the same.

  • @HiSpAnIcHeAt23 hey your in the same boat as me ive wanted to be a marine since i could remember...

  • Then you have mount surabachi. Everyone in all of your platoon has to dump all of their shit out, and push it into one big mountain in the center of the squad bay. Then everyone except for the guide and squad leaders lay down "dead", while the guide and squad leaders have to rush the mount and post the guidon. That one sucks, it takes hours of finding your own crap all over again. I'll tell you more games if you want, just message me, I have way too many to list on here post by post.

  • In Basic Training? It sucks while you do it, but you laugh looking back on it, just remember that if you join... its all for good stories haha.

"Going to the beach" - You wake up earlier than reveille.. you have to put on Suntan lotion, then you are taken out to the sandpit, where they IT you until about 5 minutes before reveille. You dry off with your hygeine towel, then later on that night you have to hygeine, so all of the sand is still on the towel. You then get IT'd for improper hygeine.

  • Basically I'm saying, ask me questions if there is anything you want to know. Because knowing what you're going to do and what you actually do is different. You don't hear about the shit that sucks. But at the same time its only as bad as you make it.

  • Nah I'm not. But trust me. I did my research too. Bootcamp was easier than I thought it would be when it came to drill instructor and recruit relations, I got hit once, that was it. As far as physically, we PT'd maybe 3 times a week tops. Some weeks we didn't even PT once. MCT was okay, pretty boring considering how much we sat around. If you go into SOI I heard there was even more sitting around. And now I'm here at MOS school, and it sucks being in the middle of nowhere on an army base.

  • Okay, we do have great training; but do you know anything about it? And what part of infantry?

  • why is it the branch for you?

  • Marines and Navy are nothing alike. Seriously don't enlist in the corps. Navy will be fine for you. There will never be another war at sea and even though we are very good at it, war is not our goal. We protect those that cannot protect themselves. Join the Navy son, you are not a Marine. The US Navy is also a fine institution.

    Sgt. USMC

  • Keep up the good work over there guys!

  • As a Marine, I can tell you that we are not "robots".

    Oorah!!! Semper Fi!!

  • dont fuck with us and we wont fuck with you

  • they didnt fuck with you guys at all but u guys want to fuck with everybody for oil and other damn politic shit.

  • we dident have a thing with hittler either but we did it anyway he killed jews saddom killed his own people with mustard gas

  • DEVIL DOGS FOR LIFE! Semper Fi!

US Marines are the best fighters in the world!

  • well all my family members were in the army, but semper fidelius

  • **Semper fi to every marines out there

  • whats mean semper fi

  • always faithful

  • Always faithful to the marine corps

  • always faithful

  • I'm a Marksman in the U.S.M.C and the bootcamp was pretty harsh yeah. But we fighted like hell and unfortunatley half of my team fighted to death, really sadly. We got an ambush of some iraqiens.

I'm talking seriously, im not lying about this, i'm a marksman in USMC.

Semper fi to everyone out there

  • your a poser... never join the Corps.

  • THANK YOU FOR SERVING OUR COUNTRY. AND PROTECTING THOSE WEAKER THAN YOU.

I'd like to be in a Corps when i'm able, i'm only 15 now but i know USMC is right for me. or a t least i hope. any tips? and infantry is what i'd like.

  • First of all...turn off FOX so you will quit thinking that the military is serving the country because it's not. If you still want to join then do good in school so you will ace your ASVAB and get into intelligent jobs or else you'll end up amongst simple minded killers...trust me I'm navy and spent enough time around marines to know most of those guys are nothing but robots:( May only God help them.

  • thats cuz seamen could never do what marines do.... thats why they send marines in first to take care of business and leave fox news on its great at least it tells you the news and not a liberal twist

  • Well it's those "robots" that protect our country so stfu

  • yo dont talk shit on the marines cause you didnt have the balls to join so you went with the navy nothing but fags on a ship no navy seamen can say they are a vetran or war unless your a seal being in war isnt floating 200 miles of the coast sending planes and missles over.....plain and simple and for gotankingusmc SEMPER FI

  • Just to tell you umm marines are a department of the navy and in peacetime they go on ships just like navy personnel do so ya.... im joining the marines but i thought i would just tell you that they are not much different except for marines fight but navy is badass because they have the SEALs

  • They are nothing alike.... and seals make up an extreme minority of the navy

  • What you say about the seals is true. Nevertheless the marines is still a department of the navy. This is not guided towards you but you should agree saying someone doesn't have balls by joining the navy is complete nonsense and ignorant.

  • department of the navy means thats where we get our money from. we take none of there customs with us and are nothing remotely alike. Most sailors are never in harms way so no it doesnt take balls to join, but there serving there country unlike 99% of the people living here so there not to be put down.

  • Well said but if this was WW2 or any war at sea it would take some balls to join but that is not the case here.. Well mainly im just saying all of this because my brother is in the navy and i support him all the way haha but ya im joining the marines and going to San Diego for bootcamp next year. Just a question have you serviced in any branch of the military or maybe currently in service?

  • been in Marines for 2 years

  • Cause they are the most elite :P

  • as far as the Navy goes yes.

  • wow i really hope you don't join the marines seriously don't join

  • Why not man? I mean of course the war and everything but i mean i've wanted to do this since i was in 7th grade and i really dont want to go looking for jobs in this crappy economy.. I really want the training and discipline they teach in the marines.

  • Yeah, you want discipline. A lot of people say that, but when they get here they bitch about all of the restrictions and field days and inspections. Trust me, ask someone what its like before you go for any of the pitches that recruiters give you. Its a whole another world from what you're told... even if you recruiter is honest to you.

  • No i understand that recruiters will tell you a lot of bullshit so you sign that contract but when i say i want the discipline i mean it i love what the marines stand for and everything.. I want it to be hard. My MOS is going to be 0300 Infantry or probably gonna be a MP but im not sure yet. If you can inform me more about the marines and how it is that would be cool cause i cant say much now because i havent been in and i cant say i know much

  • Okay, so I'm training with the MP's. The training is fucking awesome.... but Ft. Leonardwood sucks ass, it is boring here. However, if you think you're responsible and have some discipline in your body, then by all means come do MP. You get to shoot the .50 cal and all sorts of other cool weapons we don't get to shoot in MCT. 0300 sucks if you don't like hikes.. bc guess what... you do a lot of them with a good ammount of weight.

Are you West coast or East coast?

  • Im on the West Coast and i have a question as an MP what are the chances being deployed to iraq or Afghanistan?

  • PERFECT QUESTION. This will check you real quick. If you're a Marine, you're going within the next year. Thats what we've been told (to afghanistan). Now, if you're engineering or MP, you're going even quicker, which is what I've been told out here at MOS school. MP's tend to provide security, so you will be doing a lot of shooting and getting shot at (oorah). As for being on the west coast... you have the hikes with hills, so you get conditioned, but all of the west coasties have no discipline.

  • At least not out of the batch that got sent here. They won't shut up, and have no respect for authority.... but that is an individual effort in my opinion, you can always break the mold you know? The thing about being a Marine is you can be as good as you want to be, you just have to try. The Corps gives you everything you need to be proficient, I promise you that.

  • So just a question if im going to try to be an MP and i know im going to Afghanistan why not just join for infantry so i get that further training for combat so i have like a fighting chance lol. I have no idea what im talking about but maybe you can answer it hopefully haha.

  • Thats one way to look at it, however, if you pay attention in MCT you will be fine. You should further train with your unit before deployment, so you will definately build on the basics unless you're sent straight over to see stan from MCT or MOS school. And MP's do get more combat training, just not the same as infantry does. Infantry basically just trains more in weapons so anyone can operate any of the weapons.. they don't really learn more about movements until they get to their unit as well

  • Ok cause my parents dont want me to join at all but i dont really care because i have wanted to do this since i was about 13 so im going for it but i dont want to go to war but it wouldnt stop me from joining because i mean whatever happens is gonna happen. I just want to stay away from war as much as i can

  • Well, you will learn one thing in the Marine Corps. Family is everything. I didn't miss a single person at bootcamp. I went home on ten days leave and about went insane at MCT, because we had all of the down time to think. At basic the DI's are up your ass all of the time, so you never have time to think, you're moving and moving quick. So you never have time to think about them, meanwhile they miss you to death because this is the longest they've gone without talking to you.

  • You basically get a taste of it when you go to MCT and MOS school. Its alot better at MOS School though, bc you can call anytime you're on libo. Where as in MCT you can't call. If you're in Kilo co. at MCT though they give you you're cell phones back for a littlewhile on Sundays though, which was cool. But only made me miss everyone more. Basically what I'm saying is, is you WILL value them and their opinion one way or another, whether its now or later. As for joining in war, thats simple...

  • If you're even a little afraid of dying don't join. Because all we have is each other. We're the smallest branch by far, we only have 250k (probably more than that now, considering they're limiting the number of people we're allowed to recruit). So if the guy next to me was falling asleep during class, or if he doesn't want to be where we are, or if he is going to freeze when we get to combat. All of those things render him useless to me, whether its lack of knowledge or morale, and it will kill

  • No man im not afraid to die i just want to avoid it if i can but i understand man its the few and the proud. So when are you being deployed?

  • Whether its him, me, or our whole squad... or maybe even our whole platoon. So basically, join only if you're sure you want to. Right now a lot of ppl don't want to go over, and I'm stuck with them in combat. They won't be as effective as a motivated person who wants to get some.

Basically figure out if you want to join or not, and if you do, train like you are doing the real thing. It may be sound recordings, or you may be running around doing stupid games, but do it like you're being shot at.

  • also i have another question. What is your opinion on the whole army vs marines thing.

  • Hahahahahahaha. I'm living it lmao. I'm on an army base. So, remember the whole discipline thing? We have a lot of restrictions and courtesies as Marines. The army doesn't have those, so they are "nasty" and "disgusting". In all actuality, they are more laid back. But it really does make a Marine sick to his stomach to think of how they behave... not all of them of course.. just remember, it is always up to the individual to be as good as he wants to be. They aren't even close to us physically.

  • They shoot at the 300y line, not the 500, and they don't train nearly as much in combatitives. So basically, you're whole better training thing is right on. They can't get to our fights, they can't perform in our fights, and they can't live with having done the shit we've done in our fights... we're trained to kill within what is usually 25-30m, bc that is what we're seeing in Iraq, its a bit more spaced out in afghanistan... but all the same, at that distance you see a lot of ugly shit

  • And we're kind of a little bit brain washed what with the "nasty civilian" thing that's preached at boot camp, and we definitely egg each other on in wanting to go shoot some shit, and go get some overseas. Basically we openly embrace killing the enemy, but we're taught morals at the same time, so sometimes there is a conflict.... meaning, be spiritual, have a bigger set of guidelines or you just may go crazy doing this stuff. You know what, talk with a Navy Chaplain before you join, he'll help.

  • why is that?

  • Why is what? I've typed waaaaay too much shit to know what you're talking about hahaha.

  • lol i meant why should i talk to a navy chaplain before i join?

  • Because chaplains are the shit, they will talk with you about your morals and whether or not the military falls in line with your personal beliefs. They are pretty much specifically for navy and Marines just like Corpsman. But the thing is is they will be more real with you than anyone else, and they have a direct link all the way up the chain of command, so they get stuff done. If you need anything, they will help. However if you do talk with them, call him sir, or her ma'am bc they're officers

  • remember how I said the Marines are more strict? Another thing is its easier for us to screw up and get NJP'd compared to other branches, so you don't get away with nearly as much stupid stuff, especially if you did it for "fun". Like the Marine who stole a gator a few months ago and took it on a 12 MP car chase (army MP's of course). It lasted like 1.5hrs and topped out at a whopping 20 mph lol. It may make the Corps look bad when someone does that, but even I have to say, thats funny as hell.

  • I understand

  • lol that is funny but every branch is gonna have their clowns

  • Its not so much a matter of having clowns, as much as it has having nothing to do. There are a lot of genuinely funny people in all branches, and they in turn bring it out in everyone else. You can have fun without getting into trouble if you have plenty of things around to do... you don't wake up in the morning and say 'man, I feel like doing something stupid enough for me to get an NJP today...' Its when all you have is maybe 3 or 4 things at any time that you get the ppl who get into trouble.

  • For example, if you're MP, Engineering, NBC, or Motor T, you end up here in Missouri. We literally have Bowling, Mini-Golf, Games/ T.V., internet, A walmart (meaning one within our 50 mile radius we're allowed to travel), and random clubs or Tatoo parlors, which are both drug and STD infested... HIV on the needles, and locals drug your drinks when you're not payin attention. Oh, btw, male Marines are big targets... we were warned about local girls raping us using date rape drugs.

  • lol damn well hey as long as the girls are hot fuck it hahah so since youve mentioned it how are the girls out there

  • They're good for the most part. Navy is ugly, army is mostly ugly and overweight like the Navy, BUT airforce is usually good to gorgeous lookers, and some army is pretty freaking hot. Marines are either gorgeous, average, or absolutely ugly; there usually isn't an inbetween.

The locals... from the one's I've met aren't bad, and I heard the strippers were awesome for the most part, however STD's are high in the area, so I'd avoid both.

  • lol ya i understand

  • Dude, if you do go MP. Remember this... "After Dark". Also remember "Penny". She was a staff sergeant and she's cool as shit.

  • will do.. man i cant wait to join im so ready im joining with my friend through that buddy program and hopefully we get stationed somewhere together after bootcamp because both of our mos is MP so just maybe

  • Good to hear you are motivated about joining, but make sure it's right for you. You hear all of the good stuff about the Marines, but you don't hear the bad. For the most part, the good outweighs the bad (at least so far...); but still, double think it.

And if you do decide to join, then yes you should both be together here in Ft. Leonard Wood.

  • Do buddy rushes like you really are going towards an enemy. "I'm up, they see me I'm down", then no shit get your ass down and fire back. (You'll understand that more if you go into basic training). We were told to look to the left and right of us, and to expect that about 25% of us won't be there next year alone. So I'm kind of over-stressing this a bit, but if you have any doubt as to your ability to perform when the heat is on, then don't even consider trying, not everyone is made for this.

  • Remember every Marine is a rifleman... we all learn to shoot accurately from 500 yards, and we all learn combat shooting. You have different tables of fire... table one is range shooting (200y, 300y, and 500y). Table two is Combat fire, which is hammer pair, controlled pair, and failure to stop drill (aka two to the chest one to the head), and moving targets as well (walking). Then when you go to MCT you learn pivots. There is also tables 3 and 4 which I know nothing about. They are MOS specific

  • Shut the fuck up you seamen..

  • I think you're lying. A marksman is not only an elite soldier but they're smart, book smart. You spelt fought and made up a word wrong. . . and If you had lost friends i'm pretty sure you wouldn't be talking about it on youtube or trying to prove yourself to people you don't know.

  • Haha. Man you are funny. I think its great how every little highschool kid in the country wants to join the military and be a 'Special Forces Sniper'. It's such bull. Wait til they get through bootcamp. Once done there all they wanna do is get out. Very few ever get to be Snipers. And if the Army is so great then why have Marines bailed them out of every conflict this country has had in the last 150 years? Just some food for thought. Semper Fi my brothers.

  • learn history dumbass

  • oh and the cav bailed the marines out of fallujah and al najaf geuss who the cav is army i can go on about other conflicts if you like you really shouldnt talk out of your ass pls do not reply i would feel bad to make you look like more of a dumbass dumbass hooah army strong

  • Would anyone here reccommend the Army over Marines. I like the work ethic and pride of the Marines, and the more challenging training but doesnt the Army have more opportunities for the future? Like more special forces opportunities and more training programms?

  • wrong go marines man

  • Toyota.. the official truck of the taliban and alquida

  • go allies (ps-fuck russia)

  • not there "just" for oil? get it right. all i ever said was "no more blood for oil, and it has been perceived in every way possible. how about.... NO MORE WAR. now shut the fuck up.

  • look who's talking, you can't even spell the word "you" right.

  • so i need to spell "you" all the way out 4 u oops i mean for you to understand it?? thanks for the english lesson on youtube....idiot

  • you're welcome faggot

  • People would take you more seriously if you would write proper English, afterall... That's what they're teaching you at school and wouldn't it be dumb to not put the things you learned into use? Not to mention everyone would understand you. (There are foreign people on youtube aswell without a good grasp on English)

Atleast you'll get rid of all the whiners that way.

  • i think you might be a gay pride supporter....

  • The replies I've gotten from this post have been appalling. Fuck off, get your shit right. Think twice about what you say.

    KILL KILL KILL

  • I love that movie

  • USMC

Mess with the best die like the rest

  • Thats what I wanted to do originally(Army SF) but I thought about it and the chances to make Delta/Green Berets is so slim the Marines had a much better deal. And I'll get that kickass EGA and those fucking awesome Dress Blues!

  • one thing to talk about it man, hope you have the strength and willpower to make it.

  • As much as I've done already to make myself better at my recruiting station, failure is not an option. I started out at barley 1 pull up when I singed I'm now up to 11, plus the effort to get faster and better at running. I WILL come home with that EGA!

  • Go for it!

    Make a difference!

Those dress blues are damn sexy. Haha! :)

  • i got this mexican girl in our class that says the mexican army is better than american army

  • Heh, mexican armys as good as the austrian navy XD

  • Man I didn't know they had a Army.lmao
