This is my dad so I have to comment! My brother and I have many memories of begging dad to "do the duck call" and him sometimes stopping to take time to show off for his kids. If you know Leland, he is a clown. I remember going to public places and he would do his duck call and then point saying, "do you see it" to get people confused and looking around for the ducks. We love you dad! If you are going to try this, good luck, we've tried for years!
I just started duck hunting last year in 2008. I called in a lot of ducks and filled my limit the first day out. I was addicted the first time I seen ducks land to my call. I practice all the time form You Tube videos and Ducks Unlimited web page. I consider my self as a good duck caller and have been asked by several hunters to join them in calling for the 2009-10 season. I feel proud that I have had the luck i did calling ducks. But after this video I feel I got a lot to learn!
