  • old school

  • I loved the hair back then

  • @middle0eye Still, I want a ROB.

Even if not to play with, as a decoration.

  • I want a ROB.

Maybe a rerelease for the Wii...?

  • I'm sold!

  • Jesus. The whole NES blew up, and it blew their house up also!

  • Regular plain ass nintendo. Goodness, I can remember those days in elementary school, just waiting for school to be out so I could come home and play regular ass nintendo. SUPER MARIO BROS. 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • so,if i go home this evening and play my nes,my entire house will launch the whole way up into space and i can see the stars and the moon and i'll be fighting my way through space! That sounds awesome! NOW YOUR PLAYING WITH POWER GUYS!!!!

  • WARNING: Playing Nintendo may result in Permanent Injury or Death

  • I hate ROB!

  • good old ROB

  • if you play nintendo you launch into space, great.

  • i just got back from the 80s from being launched into space, do we sleep in pods yet?

  • i remember i got the deluxe nes system w/ r.o.b. the robot. gyromite freakin sucked balls! i hated that game! that damn robot used "D" batteries. i never figured out what the hell the point was to gyromite. i just know it looked kick ass in the tv commercial and i had to have it. i was so disappointed to find out super mario bros didn't come w/ the deluxe set.

  • what does R.O.B. even do

  • wat did the robot do

  • look at that pack it brings now-a-days each thing sold separately

  • brings back lower tech. memories

  • wow sux for you guys i got to orbit the earth for 8 days kicking ass at duck hunt and burger time.... but we ran outa TP so we had to come back.

  • I agree with the refund comment. My house didn't blast off when playing either.

  • I still have this unit somewhere in the house. I remember playing Aussie Rules Football and International Cricket for hours and hours. The good old days.

  • I forgot, what was the point of the robot with the NES?

  • So, apparently, when you play your NES, your entire house's foundation will explode and blast you into space.

  • @SirHoboGoorble Yes, and that's why the NES is the top console of all time.

  • @WebVMan Neo Geo>>>>Nes

  • I've heard that the Zapper uses light detection, and that when you fire the screen goes black and the ducks become white squares. So if the zapper detects something black you miss and if it detects something white you shoot down the duck.

    But my question is:

If there are two ducks at the screen, how can it know which one you shoot?

    Can someone please answer me?

  • Well assuming that the 2 ducts aren't attached at the hip, Id say you answered your own question. If the ducks are white and the ducks are going separate ways, then just envision 2 white squares going in different directions and once the laser or whatever lands on a white square...hit

  • Awesome!!!

  • hey! my house didnt blow up!

    i want a refund lol

  • lol

  • wow a classic commercial. although i had nightmares of the 2d graphics and arcade quality gameplay

  • "Now You're Playing With Power."

You can't get anymore egotistical then that. And it was fun!!. :)

  • Thats what Nintendo was good at. Brainwashing us into thinking it was the best system and to be honest..for a long period it was. Now video games aren't a monopoly like they were back then and people can choose from different systems but the NES is what made video games today. Not atari. Atari actually almost ruined it for everyone.

  • It was a fraily neat assesoriy for its time, and remains one of the most reconizable NES assesoies, up with the Zapper and the NES advantage...Which were all really exillent.

  • what did the "robot" do anyway?

  • The Robot was an video game accsesory that went with the NES, and with certian games one on them being "Gromite", As you were playing the game, the Robot would run around, and spin disks.
