Always loved this band! Rollover was my favorite, especially the demon on the album cover. Recently got a mug with the face on it. A bit of Trivia: Did you know that the drummer of this band writes music for TV and movies? He wrote the music for The X-files tv show. His name now is Michael Snow I believe.
@VladtheEmailer Fun Fact: did you know the leader of this band ended up becoming one of the biggest arrangers/composers of today? Look him up.....Michael Kamen. I guarantee you've heard his music.....everywhere!! LOL
@crazecrys Hi! Yes for sure! I just thought everyone knew that! Michael also wrote the music for Baron Munchhausen that Terry Guilliam movie! It's sad that he passed away. :-(
@VladtheEmailer True. Michael has done so much amazing stuff. I knew him well, and yes, I am crushed at his passing....still to this day. He was an amazing person as well as an amazing talent. A light truly put out far too soon. Cheers! =)
I also caught nyre at Tulagi's in Boulder plus in concert for home coming. 11/2 hours with the CU orchestra and 11/2 hours alone. Still the best show I've seen!
I don't remember Emerson but when they opened up the West side of the building, it was called MAD EGOR'S. I used to help out by making the beer run for Denny( ?) who rented the place. So I usualy got in for free.He ran the place on less than a shoestring. Don't forget TEACHER by JETHRO TULL.
The building was remodled and instead of clapboard it is now brick. You would never think of the good times that were had there.
Damn. Somebody that also used to go to the Draught House. I remember the Counterpoints playing this song. The people that i hung out with there, we had our own tables grouped together and sat by where Tom Shultz the guitar player stood and played. Those were some really great times back then. Do you remember when the Enson Bunch played on the other side of the building? Great memories.
Obscure and a true classic! You could only hear this on the old "underground" radio. Betting not too many of us around who remember this song. Thanks so much for posting!!
Caught them at Tulagi's on 'The Hill' in Boulder, CO 1971 ( ?) fan F'n tastic show ! Wish they'd gotten more radio play,, they could have been huge,, ,,
I thot I was the only one to listen to these guys....i've listened to them for over 40yrs...i guess that means i'm an old fart but i don't care....these guys rock!
I agree with all the comments so far. Great band I saw them live at my university in 1972. They were fantastic. I wish they had received more airplay. This album is one of the pearls in my vinyl collection.
Thanks for this post. Learned this riff as a child trying to play, haven't heard this in many, many years. Still sounds great, little dated, but great. Peace, Hardtackrock
Thank you!!!!

I remember them well. Not so obscure to us old guys who lived for the music in the late 60's/early 70s. One of the best tracks from the album.
