i wanna get this game...but there is so many idk if its worth it, because 8-13 is 6 games...and they make new ones too. idk if it's just hype though. does it have anything on Fable (1, 1-1/2, 2) or Elder Scrolls: Oblivion...or even Fallout 3?

I like the 360, don't get me wrong, but it would suck if Sony's best third party company left them in the dark...

His name is Noctis. He's a prince who holds a power of the last crystal he is trying to protect. But I never bothered to read more due to keeping the hype at bay, so I can't say anymore than that. :P
i have to say even though this looks good FinalFantasy X or 10 is the best one that can be made. on X2 its boring and u cant do all the fun stuff u could on num. 10. i havent plaed 13 but 10 is way better with the summoning of aeons and stuff like sin.
That really doesn't make the game better. The story was good until like halfway, the graphics were ok for the time, but the voice-acting would have been better with more practice (it was a new thing for FF at that time). The battle system was also not ATB, so that pissed a couple people off due to it's low difficulty. Just saying it's really not the best, but still an awesome game.
- Much like FFXII, FFXIII will be real-time. However, you can choose whether to fight the enemy or leave them be. You can still see their HP and stats without having to engage in battle.
- You can choose between gun and sword (obvious enough).
- You can choose more than 1 command at a time, and they will execute in that order. However, depending on what order they are executed, Lightning will move in a different pattern.

As for the 3D, well, they had to do it at some point. If there were no technological advances, today's world would look very different.

There will be 2 versions.
Versus = Like Final Fantasy 12
Regular = Like all of the other FF games.
PS3 gets both.
360 gets the regular one.

i disagree.they must take advantage of the technology they are given,and i dont really believe that the old battle system (turned base rpg) is really capable of doing this.
its too simple.i know it was the final fantasy trademark but the japanese are crazy and the always come up with some crazy moves for the characters and the turned base system is really not helping,whereas the typical rpg figthing system(e.g. kingdom hearts :D) really IS helping.

this was before i saw the new trailer at 4:00pm today :( this WOULD have been truly an FF feat of design. but it's more like crisis core meets FF12. Not so impressive and ''flashy flashy bang bang about the tunnel'' as this.

This game is the reason why I bought PS3... only to find out that it will be release also in 360... Sigh... Nonetheless, versus XIII is still exclusive to PS3 so it's ok...

Stupid comment. Although I like Versus a bit more, FFXIII is far from what you call a "powerpuff girl" game. The battle system is renewed from both the classic turn-based and FFXII's real-time, with some inventive gameplay to add to the mix, and the music... dude, don't get me started on the music. The music is too awesome to even mention in this.

Good! It's being released for the PS3! I was a bit worried for a second, for if you look at the careers section of the Square Enix site, one of its requirements for software engineer is publishing a 360 game, but no PS3 experience is mentioned in the requirement. In fact, it goes on, saying, "gaming experience recommended, particularilly on the Xbox 360."
I like the 360, don't get me wrong, but it would suck if Sony's best third party company left them in the dark...

His name is Noctis. He's a prince who holds a power of the last crystal he is trying to protect. But I never bothered to read more due to keeping the hype at bay, so I can't say anymore than that. :P

i have to say even though this looks good FinalFantasy X or 10 is the best one that can be made. on X2 its boring and u cant do all the fun stuff u could on num. 10. i havent plaed 13 but 10 is way better with the summoning of aeons and stuff like sin.

That really doesn't make the game better. The story was good until like halfway, the graphics were ok for the time, but the voice-acting would have been better with more practice (it was a new thing for FF at that time). The battle system was also not ATB, so that pissed a couple people off due to it's low difficulty. Just saying it's really not the best, but still an awesome game.

New info on Gameplay:
- Much like FFXII, FFXIII will be real-time. However, you can choose whether to fight the enemy or leave them be. You can still see their HP and stats without having to engage in battle.
- You can choose between gun and sword (obvious enough).
- You can choose more than 1 command at a time, and they will execute in that order. However, depending on what order they are executed, Lightning will move in a different pattern.
In other words: Game of the Year
