  • The producers of "The Brave and the Bold" could had done a similar episode in which Wonder Woman and Superman battle the Joker. The Joker catches Wonder Woman in his trick streamers;with her hands bound by a man, Wonder Woman loses her Amazon strength and becomes helpless. When the Joker uses Kryptonite to try to stop Superman, Superman reveals that he's wearing a lead-lined costume;Superman knocks out the Joker with a solid punch to the jaw and frees Wonder Woman from the trick streamers.

  • My favorite episodes of "Batman" so far.

  • 2:44 Batman's shadow show his arms up, but his arm are really down.

  • the basketball team should have been called the bird legged twits. how puny they all were

  • Didn't you notice at 2:25 that Batman's shadow is like his arms are up but in reality he's holding on the ropes? :D It's crazy....But I love this episode, so why bother! :D

  • Holy editing. Look at 2:45. I just some was drunk lol!

  • am I the only one who thought the trick streamers wrapping up Robin thing was poorly done? sign of the times, i guess

  • Well guys, there's a moral to the lesson:

There's no such thing as Free Money and there's no such thing as Easy Living

    Stick to your books

  • Man, it was cool when Batman popped Joker on the back of the head with the bata-rang.

  • Dick got a kiss

  • normally at the end they have a joke that has something to do with the episode plot. i thought it was gonna have something to do with dick smoking that cigarette.

  • one of the things I like about adam west is he always folds his arms (and cape) like a bat.

  • I know there was a scene that got cut out. After Suzie was poisoned, back at the Joker's hideout, he feigned remorse, and had his flunkies smoke "a memorial cigar in Suzie's honor", which promptly exploded 15 seconds later.

  • Bad continuity...the Bat shadow but cut to Batman and he's standing arms and cape down...Susie was later taken to the Catwoman's Home for Baaaad kittens.

  • Now those were the days .... a dime could get you something out of a vending machine.

  • Good thing Batman always keeps anti- allergy pills on him hahaha

  • 3:22-3:26

  • LMAO At the Bat-Sheild.

  • Aw such a gentleman carrying her bags for her. Burt Ward was so damn good looking, it's a shame he spent most of his time on screen behind a mask

  • soooo wouldn't that picture just show them reading off a piece of paper? how would someone looking at the picture know what was on that paper?

  • damn! Batman's strong!

  • um...what if joker wakes up? batman just left him there.... -_-*

  • I am 36 years old and this perhaps is one of my most favorite episodes of The Batman series...it was a great and fun show to watch growing up as a kid. The music from 4:40 to the end as the background music is something I still remember after all these 20 or 25 years...wow!! Thank you so much Adam West and Burt Ward....Batman and Robin FOREVER!!! :)

  • Ah. Those universal antidote pills sure come in handy, don't they?

  • DISCO STU.... got his home economics degree.... At DISCO TECH.... BOOGIE DOWN!!!!

  • Disco Tech? Geez, why can't other high schools have names like that??

  • Anti-alergy pill? I know a few people who could use a box or two of those in the coming spring (I am in the sthrn hemosphere.)

Why, prey tell, did the basketball team come back? Why were they watching? Who cares? Guys in short shorts will do me just fine.

  • which president of the united states was Woodrow Roosevelt?

  • There was no president called Woodrow Roosevelt, but there were presidents called:

    Theodore Roosevelt (1901 - 1909)

    Woodrow Wilson (1913 - 1921)

    Franklin D. Roosevelt (1933 - 1945)

  • Uh, did they just leave the Joker passed out on the court? lol

  • They mighta called the police as soon as they left tha school.

  • hmm that basketball scene reminds me of something - is Gotham City an "all white community" ?- are the Blacks and Asians segragated - lol or did i just forget a black character of the show

  • watch the last episode A BLACK POLICE MAN freed them from the trap i was shocked

  • Don't these player have any coaches, or were they so good they didn't need any?

  • He'll discard you without mercy like an old shoe!

  • 1:54 is that Al Pacino standing next to Joker?

  • 3:35....Batman sure is strong!!!

  • haha, the weight was probably plastic or hollow. It's pretty funny, actually=P

  • Yeah, but the sound effects on it helped sell it pretty well. Added some "weight" to it :D

  • they have a milk machine in the gym? wow, things sure were different back then

  • Ill take the other squad + 49 against these stiffs

  • "BALL PLAYERS RUN FOR COVER!"

  • Couple of bits cut here. At the start, was a thing of the narrator going "Bet against these champs? The CLown Prince of Crime must have flipped his lid!"

And after Susan faints, the Joker told, seemingly remorseful, gives a thug a cigar but it explodes and he laughs it off.

  • And that's why Robin never scored. All a girl would have to do is bat (see what I did there?) her eyes and Dick would tell her Robin's secret identity, Batman's secret identity, th location of the Bat Cave and Aunt Harriets dress size.

  • season one episodes are so cool..did anyone else ever notice u can tell the difference in the seasons by the way pow! and bam! and other words appear on the screen:

season 1 - words over transparent background while show continues

season 2 - solid background with words in contrasting color

season 3 - flashy color changing background with words in contrasting color

  • Yeah, I noticed that too, I have a mixture of favourites from all three seasons, my favourite villian is The Joker.

  • goof: you can see batmans cape shadow on the wall even after he dropped it

  • Other bad continuity:

    1. What happened to the camera Two-Bit was holding? There was at least one long shot in the fight, and it's nowhere to be seen.

    2. What happened to the ropes? They vanish after the descent sequence.

  • 3. Finally, for some reason, there are stand-ins for Nick and Two-Bit in the middle portion of the fight, when they're lined up side by side. The original actors are back for the final three punches.

If it wasn't mentioned already, Nick was played by Kip King, who is the father of comic Chris Kattan.
