HD4850 in my opinion is the best DX9/DX10 card, cheap, great performance on any game (Crysis is broken! Come on >:D) And Half life 2's engine was always phenomenal for anyone, it atracts and comforts the eye, and it doesn't require a fucking washing machine to run it

That's because the game has low requirements. Doesn't look and different on my old Radeon 9600XT than on my hd4850. Just runs more fluently.

yeah , my 4950 .4gb ram , and amd 2x2.8 ghz pc runs it at avg 180 fps , and still looks exactly the same.

4850 is great , when the games and drivers will optimize that card , we will see incredible graph , mine is a dual slot verY silent and cold , changing drivers and putting new patch on crysis i can play on dx9 very high at 1600 x 1200 with a good frame rate (25 % better than before), I think will be the best card for 2 years
