I think I may like this movie, but there is NO way that a surgeon, a man with a doctrine in medicine and science, would be so negligent as to not only condone, but to order, someone to poor toxic chemicals into any body of water. That character is rather one-dimensional; he doesn't even respond to the Korean's remarks of what consequences may come of pouring the liquids into the sewer system.
