Good question. The reason for this is found in passages like Isaiah 2:1-4. When Jesus returns, he and his people will destroy all the weapons of war in the world. But, at the end of the 1,000 years of the Day of the LORD (Revelation 20:7-9) Satan will again emerge to make war against the people of God. This is when the weapons you mentioned will be fashioned, even as in the days of old.
@JESSEN1975 the reason why your bible referes to bows, arrow, swords and stuff like that is because it is in ENGLISH. if you read the HEBREW text the languages does not specifically state such weapons. Rather, it loosely refers to the use ranged weapons, fighting instruments.

This is happening right now they are calling for peace in the middle east and this is what is going to bring the Psalms war to life because the peace will not come. In this war the prophecy in Isaiah 17 will also happen where Damascus will be destroyed.

Israel will be a land of unwalled villages very soon after the Psalms war when they take their walls down because they have defeated there bordering nations because of the peace process. They will be at peace after those nations are defeated. Ezekiel 38-39 are about to happen. Please look at the original Hebrew to understand the meaning of the bows and arrows and other weapons.
@wordprophet The Psalms 83 war. My reasoning is that what is happening in the world today and the war is going to start very soon, yes the Bible does mean what it says but somethings in there you have to look into the original Hebrew or greek to get the true meaning.

What is your view on the pre-trib/post-trib rapture, As a jew who has now found Yeshua I figure that I will probably have to go through it. I'm not well versed yet on a lot of NT eschatology.

Friend, what is this "Psalms war" that you refer to? What is your reasoning behind this?
Also, the Bible means what it says. The weapons stated in the scripture are what the Holy Ghost gave to be written
