I wonder which translation of the game is closer to the Japanese original. I've played MM both in German and in English and very many things (places,songs,characters..) have totally different names. Fx the "Oath to Order" is called something like "Heaven's Singing" in German, strange...

Forget new graphics, nintendo should make a new zelda game on the n64 engine to continue MM's timeline. The n64 graphics style just "works" for Zelda. Higher polygon counts doesn't mean "better" automatically.

Nah, not really. It's very, very, VERY clear it's not a direct sequel. Any connections made between the two are speculations made by fanboys who actually think Nintendo had a master plan to have some genius "split timeline" zelda story going. (They didn't.)

it's true because years after link was killed in the lost woods and turned into a stalfos his son who still had a son.... about 700 years later...... a new link was trained to defeat evil by the original hero (OOT/MM link!!!!) because when you fount the last/7th hidden skill he told you he was was the hero to defeat ganondorf the first time.. and he had the sword you could get in majora's mask and a dirtyed-up vertion of the mirror sheild..... :P

@Optics233 MM's timeline is continued with Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks - when Link reverts to a child and vanishes from Hyrule, and Ganondorf is never sealed.

I'm interested to see what Skyward Sword does, it is supposedly a blend of the child and adult graphic styles, which insinuates that maybe both timelines will be featured in this one. Don't know though, but I heard a rumour a while back that the game may feature time travel.

About the fierce deity's mask, you lose your masks at first, but you'll have them all back once you've completed the game. Also, you get to keep the fierce deity mask, and use it in any boss fight

She gives it back to him once he returns to childhood and they're both kids. Zelda pretty much doesn't know that she has the ocarina as an adult but gave it back to Link in the past. So it kind of gets passed through both timelines, although its current whereabouts are, sadly, unknown.

Majoras Mask, i found, was especially good because of the amount of gameplay you recieve from sidequests as well as the storyline. TP didn't really bother with anything other than the story, also for me, there needs to be some sort of musical aspect such as the ocarina and the wind waker which TP lacked.

Yes, Zelda and especially Ganondorf felt like they were just shoved into a plot where they didn't really fit that well. Ganondorf was built up as a major villain in OoT and WW, in TP he just pops up at the end. It's kind of disappointing for Zelda to be so passive in TP compared to WW and OoT, too. It's better to just leave them out altogether like Majora's Mask (my favorite Zelda) and Link's Awakening did than to try to shoehorn them in.

Twilight Princess left a lot to be desired, actually. Most people just say it was the best because it had good graphics. But in truth you have items that for the most part where only useful in the dungeon you find them (Even the Hero's Bow was only really useful in Goron Mines. I don't remember a lot of other "bow-related" puzzles in other dungeons. :/)

Sorry, but i'm a real big MM fan, so I can't see you say TP is better, because it isn't. I've played many Zelda games, but twilight Princess lacked an esscence the older games had - it wasn't... right.
