As a Bama fan, these transfers and quittings mean NOTHING. A good coach pushes his/her players to the max. Bear Bryant took was known as a strict, harsh, tough disciplinarian and a badass. I think Summitt is tough, relentless and can squeeze every drop of potential out of already amazing athletes. And she obvously loves the team. She is a class act, and obviously acting 14 in this video, hat's off to Coach Summitt, maybe someday we'll beat the Lady Vols (and i can win the lottery)

That is by far the most asinine comment that I have read. Women's basketball has as much passion, intensity, heart and determination as the men's version of it and it's not always about athleticism, but mostly on pure effort.

I'm saying she is the best female coach of all time. What I'm saying is Grambling footballs old coach was there for over 60 years! Eddie Robinson rarely gets credit as an innovator since he coached a black school. I think she's a great coach. She'd coach circles around a Bob Weiss or Scott Skiles, but a Riley, Jackson, or Larry Brown, it's tough to say her name with that calibur of coaches. Kill me feminists but it's true
