I like TD (albums from"Electronic Meditation" to "Ricochet", at lives until 1976) as much as Klaus Schulze (until 1979) and Conrad Schnitzler (until middle 80's). I failed to get "Official Bootleg Live Vol.1". Also "Ossiah" is sold out. Therefore I thanks for these postings.
Yes it sure has the hallmarks of TD improvising live - can you imagine being there in that concert hall as rhodochrosite was? Lucky thing! I was at the Apollo in 1980 but no one was there to record that rowdy Manchester crowd for the Tree sadly! Wish they had.
Sure this is Tangerine Dream 10000000000000%..I am 53 and was at many of their 1976 concerts..My favourite was their Royal Albert Hall concert of the same year.I knew Cristophe Edgar Peter and Edgars son ,as I had a backstage pass for Photography.
I am their fan for two decades, and didn't know about such material until just few years ago.
One of the reasons I posted this and other material is to show people the little known (or for some people unknown) Tangerine Dream material, which is at least as equally good as their official stuff.
Tangerine Dream material which you can find in music stores is only about half of their full opus.
Anyway, if you want to know more, go to my channel, and look for the links I put there. On these websites you'll find any relevant info about Tangerine Tree and Tangerine Leaves.

Thanks for comment, but think for a second about absurdity of title "Official Bootleg".
...Though, at a second thought, it just occured to me that the whole "Tangerine Tree" series could be classified exactly as official bootleg.

At least the event in 1982 in Manchester was recorded, as a Tangerine Leaves Vol. 84 in the same (Apollo) theatre.

Tangerine Tee is unofficial recordings of TD stuff, made by fans, but with permission of TD.
