I may be about ten centimeters away from getting this synthesizer for my next purchase. One thing I'm curious about is whether or not you can create a performance patch with one sound triggered from the S90's own keyboard and to attach an external MIDI controller (I'm thinking my first synth, an Alesis QS6) for triggering a separate sound at the same time. Think piano triggered from the S90 keyboard and organ, strings, etc triggered from the QS6.

Im not sure but I think this one has alot of extra stuff that i really wouldn't use. Think I will do a bit of research and see what the big difference is between this one and the S90es.

@basicsoul32 The Yamaha has better piano and ep than kurzweil sounds. I owned a pc1x which has the same tone generator than the pc3x, and my s90xs has much detailed sounds. Yamaha piano has damper resonance and key-off samples that make a big difference for the realism of the sounds.
