@luk1954 I suspect that will never occur. In other words, somebody else will walk on the moon before the last of the Apollo moonwalkers are gone. Probably the Chinese and hopefully they will not end their moon program after only a few years; as the U.S. did.

A million lives are not even close to the value of learning to fly to and land on another heavenly body. One of these things will save earth, the other has no importance to the continuation of the species, much less all life on Earth.
