Even if born in Hawaii, Barack would have lost his citizenship when his stepfather Lolo Soetoro adopted him in Indonesia which did not allow for dual citizenship. His name was legally changed to Barry Soetoro and he apparently never legally changed it back when he returned to Hawaii.

By the same token, I don't think his name in the U.S. was ever changed, so it's a moot point. Hawaii became a State in 1959, and to receive education tax dollars, from 1959 to 1970 Hawaii issued thousands of birth certificates to people with children from Asia, and other countries. Obama may not have been born in Hawaii.

The HI DOH sent him a PAPER document. They have confirmed the one he showed is the one they sent him. It was PAPER, which means ONE layer. Then they scanned it in and saved it as a PDF which is when the layers were added. PDF's have layers unless you specifically set it to save "flat."

Even if born in Hawaii, Barack would have lost his citizenship when his stepfather Lolo Soetoro adopted him in Indonesia which did not allow for dual citizenship. His name was legally changed to Barry Soetoro and he apparently never legally changed it back when he returned to Hawaii.

Hawaii became a State in 1959, and to receive education tax dollars, from 1959 to 1970 Hawaii issued thousands of birth certificates to people with children from Asia, and other countries. Obama may not have been born in Hawaii.
