I could, but not many stores I know of will buy in a few £1000 worth of amps so I can A/B them in the shop

Not everyone has access to these sort of amps in their local music store so it is a lot easier to listen to how they sound on here and read reviews before spending a few thousand dollars and having these music stores order just the one in for yourself.
