your right, he's a fucking idiot! the advantage is the best smartphone in the world as far as screen and internet browsing goes (besides the iphone) and is one of the most expensive as well for a reason. HTC Advantage dominates all smartphone devices.

I think some of the comparisons should have gone in the X7500's favour rather than being tied. To then give the E90 a 10-6 advantage (no pun intended) as a phone when it is still a brick by most peoples reckoning is a bit farcical. Watching the video I thought Steve did his best to be fair but his well known symbian bias got the better of him. Still love the show though.

This review is so biased towards the Nokia. LOL. I see that the Nokia is the more practical phone, but the HTC has more to offer on web browsing, video & pic viewing, office features, calendar, etc to only give it a point higher than the Nokia on those features, lol. BIASED =)

i nearly fell out my my seat watching this video. the htc whoops the e90 out the window. its much better in everyway. considering he was using windows mobile 5 on it when he could of used 6 . he loves nokia to much. sad really to compare to phones when infact the htc is nearly as good as a laptop and the e90 is still just a nokia phone. the htc is a pda/tablet with built in phone. the e90 is a phone with some more features then normal and not even on the same wavelenth as the htc.

I'm getting my E90 tommorrow... Going to show off everywhere I go!!! Work, Meetings, Play. Two questions quick. Where can I find cool "gadgety" apps for the E90? ie: utilising the infra-red as a universal remote, a movie converter for my favourite movies, etc?

And can I use the phone straight out the box or is there a minimum time I have to charge it for??? 16hours for the older phones

the upgrade for windows mobile 6 is available and free for the HTC advantage. maybe you should have downloaded that on the HTC before filming this because most people who have HTC advantage will not be using windows mobile 5

i didnt notice anything about the wifi on the advantage and the nokia. and is it possible for the advantage to play videos that have been uploaded on the computer?

HTC does hv wifi, there is even a small light at the top indicating this but it wasnt mentioned in this video. and the large screen of the HTC is good for viewing videos

Well... This video is propably missing the professional usage aspect. For example, there's even professional 3D modeling program Blender for Windows Mobile, most professional sales management tools and such software exist only for Pocket PC.

It's possible to connect HTC Advantage to video projector to view your presentations. A must-have feature for traveling marketing person. In addition to that, you can connect USB-thumbdrive to transfer your files, USB-keyboard for typing and such devices.

Eh? Do please do *some* research! Yes, Windows Mobile devices run err.... Windows Mobile. There's a version of Word, very cut down. But Publisher is a DTP program for desktops!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i did but the nokia website is shit for telling you what software you can download for certain phones. i was so confused i was seeing if this phone could take windows mobile. It was a strange thought i must admit but there was a chance.

In this episode you said that the nokia E90 can only be expanded up to 2GB via transflash, i'm sure you know this but with sandisks MicroSDHC 4GB out or soon to be out it works with the nokia N95 and will work with the nokia E90 doubling up on the amount of expandable memory, but i believe only these two models will work with the SDHC memory. cheers!

Looks like the Advantage doesn't even hold much over the Universal. HSPDA and the 8GB HD (which will soon be replaced by 8GB SD cards anyway) don't really cut it for working with something that size. At least I can hold my Universal up to my ear for cars (at the expense of looking like a fool in public!)

Another great review steve! I really hope nokia does release a smaller version of the e90 in the future. Even though they might have to remove stuff like the camera or other hardware to achieve it. But the size of both is just tooo big
