Here's my theory about the song meaning:

They guy - I don't know their names, I first heard them last night - the guy has a pad that's like a keyboard with a guitar strap, but it doesn't have keys, it's got a sequencer that he can distort with the controls, as well as a headset microphone hooked up to it too so he can distort his vocals and sing cleam + distorted at the same time. Most musicians I know have good voices, me included because music requires practice, and if you practice singing enough you will get good at it no matter what. It's inevitable. Same with instruments. I've been practicing music for 13 years for hours a day, thats how you get Ok at something.
