and I was totally shoocked.

This was one of the best movies I've ever see.

One version I bought to my great regret, was dubbed in French; it was -ridiculous- French is too soft, polite and sweet for the guttural Japanese, I was roaring with laughter- it was so incongruous so I bought a version in Japanese with subtitles.

in portugual dubbed films are rare. almost everything is subtitled, and we like it. It sounds weird when they're dubbed, and although portuguese normally do a good job dubbing, we still prefer the original voices. :)

I was really angry,by the lack of respect,you tube doesn´t know how to distinguish trash(like most Hollywood movies),that they can remove at will,from eternal classics.

For that reason I prefer the 1962 film, The 300 Spartans. It isn't without its inaccuracies, but at least they wear armour!

The recent 300 movie its the full result of the contemporary cinema industry,everything can be made with the resource to computers,etc,by directors that know very little of history,and don´t have any enthusiasm to know anything else than its bloody part,and that works today because special effects are good enough to please the general audiences,that just want to see a good killing.

300 was extremely real & accurate. Real Greek (Spartan) soldiers were in fact a bunch of faggots. All the soldiers lived in their barracks most of the time. They used to pair up & it was encouraged - the Spartan army had a "do ask, do tell" policy. They visited their wives only rarely. Why do you think there were only 300 of them at Thermopylae? Because their fathers had spent more time with each other than with their mothers.

300 was extremely exaggerated, yeah there were 300 Spartans and around 1000 soildiers from OTHER greek citys. Plus it was the athenians who were the ones responsable for driving the persians back
