  • Don't be scared of invading the other lane with your left tires on the open (not blind) corners. It is actually safer since you have more run off space and better entry line for comming right handers. You can also brake much later for some of the turns but you might want to be really confident on the road before. Also you can be much smoother with the wheel and gas pedals and balance the car so you get more miles out of your tires. Nice skills anyway, loved your car and the road!

  • We like to play, too. Come to Miatas In Boone, in September - many like-minded folks there ;)

  • Hi will you be there at "miata's at the gap" this year July 23-25. My husband and my cousin both have 06 miatas (ours is copper red and my cousins is galaxy grey), we plan to be there and are actually staying at the fontana resort. There arent too many miatas there that are driven like the miata was meant to be driven...but you seem to be one of 'our kind of drivers'. My husband and cousin just put new shocks and springs on for this year so they are hoping to get a little more out of the run.

  • @tracihorsley

No I will not be, maybe next year. Fontana is a nice place.

  • Great Video! This is how Deals gap should be driven. It looks like you have awesome skill. You drove it fast, and was still able to stay on your side of the road. Hope more people watch this video.
