This is terrible instruction and demonstration.

Ferry gliding is the act of going from one side of the river to the other WITHOUT being pushed down stream.

Also she should be aiming for the top of the eddy (furthest point upstream in the eddy)

All aspiring kayakers dont listen to anything ExpertVillage say. Go out and find a decent kayaking instructor.

i dont know the diff, I only like 9 foot lobos and still learning. I perfer touring in lobos
