1.Weather is far to complex, thus impossible for us to make long term predictions.(even the short term predictions are often wrong)

Their have been around 5 periods in the last 3000 years when the Earth's temperature have been higher than it has been now. The Piri Reis map shows that a cartographer mapped Antarctica several hundred years ago - it was clearly without ice. Unless he had ground penetrating radar he wouldn't have been able to survey the land as well as he did. Regarding the poles....have you read the Fingerprints of the Gods by Graham Hancock? You recently heard about the Lost City of Atlantis being found? It's in that book and it shares a folklore describing the pole shift that was passed on for thousands of years

I just experienced "climate change", it was about 58 degrees out on Sunday, today, Tuesday its 18 degrees outside with 4" of snow. Quite a change. I guess that's why they changed it from "Global Warming" because their findings weren't matching their Hypothesis. Can someone explain to me how if Earth at its birth, a smoldering rock bathing in "primordial soup" smothered in Methane and Ammonia gas, survived all that and propogated life. And now all of a sudden youre worried about a little Carbon?
@makinmimis77 A LITTLE carbon??? It's not so much the fact that the climate is changing - you're right it always has been changing. It's about the speed of change. That and the fact that we have given animals and plants a much lower chance of adapting to changes by changing the environment so dramatically, and by causing so many extinctions. Fewer extant species means less variation for evolution to work on, so even more species will go extinct than would otherwise have been the case.

Co2 can only absorb at MOST 8% of the IR waves from the sun... 8% of .0038 is astronomically low. Also, it is proven that Co2 rises AFTER global temperatures rise (100-150 year lag) not the other way around. Warming causes Co2, not Co2 causes warming. Your wrong. 1.Weather is far to complex, thus impossible for us to make long term predictions.(even the short term predictions are often wrong)
2.Even if we are causing the global warming, why spend millions to prevent it? we could spend those money to be prepared for it because we now change will come even if we do nothing wrong - it seems more reasonable to me.

The climate changes humans not the other way round . The Earth's climate is starting to cool abruptly . The Pacific is cooling. The Sun is now less active. The troposphere is 0.5 degrees celcius cooler than this time last year. Carbon dioxide is a life giving gas. This video portrays the exact opposite of what is happening just now.

We know we cause global warming because the greenhouse effect is proven, we know we have raised the concentration of CO2 by 40%, the fingerprints of enhanced GHG warming are clearly evident, and no other theory explains it. I've been studying this stuff for 20+ years and the evidence is stronger than ever.
And if CO2 wasn't so powerful then we would be cooling the planet due to aerosol emissions. To observe things you have to look.

None of you guys take into account the Piri Reis map, and none of you even mention the fast moving poles of the earth which the university of washington has characterized as unexplained. Today's scientific community can't have concensus over weather alcohol or vitamin c is good or bad. You now have these clowns trying to argue over the mechanics of our planet. The Mayan's had figured out the solar system and the earths wobble while our scientific community was in its infancy. What we have today are celebrity-scientists who want fame and will say anything to get their work published in scientific papers and the rest are all a bunch of tag alongs. Many scientists refute the work.

That allows me to know when someone is talking about something that has some value and something that is complete bunk. The Piri Reis map shows that a cartographer mapped Antarctica several hundred years ago - it was clearly without ice. Unless he had ground penetrating radar he wouldn't have been able to survey the land as well as he did. Regarding the poles....have you read the Fingerprints of the Gods by Graham Hancock? You recently heard about the Lost City of Atlantis being found? It's in that book and it shares a folklore describing the pole shift that was passed on for thousands of years

I just experienced "climate change", it was about 58 degrees out on Sunday, today, Tuesday its 18 degrees outside with 4" of snow. Quite a change. I guess that's why they changed it from "Global Warming" because their findings weren't matching their Hypothesis. Can someone explain to me how if Earth at its birth, a smoldering rock bathing in "primordial soup" smothered in Methane and Ammonia gas, survived all that and propogated life. @makinmimis77 A LITTLE carbon??? It's not so much the fact that the climate is changing - you're right it always has been changing. It's about the speed of change. That and the fact that we have given animals and plants a much lower chance of adapting to changes by changing the environment so dramatically, and by causing so many extinctions. Fewer extant species means less variation for evolution to work on, so even more species will go extinct than would otherwise have been the case.

The map remains locked in a government vault in Washington DC. People are stubborn across all spectrums of debate but don't believe for a second that you have your own biases. Co2 can only absorb at MOST 8% of the IR waves from the sun... 8% of .0038 is astronomically low.
