@ScholarVisual I've never heard of these paintings, but even if they exist, this is evidence that Jewish people were in Egypt at one point, not that they were slaves. And of course it doesn't prove that they weren't slaves in Egypt. You can't prove a negative. It's up to the person making the positive claim (in this case, that the Jews were slaves in Egypt) to show that that claim is true. This is called the burden of proof. So far, this claim has not been shown to be accurate.

It also talks about talking snakes and women being made from ribs and people walking on water and raising the dead and riding circles round cities till the walls fall down. I don't think we can take anything it says at face value. Corroborating evidence is required to sort out the myth from the history. The bit about splitting a sea makes me more than a little skeptical of this tale.
