O Iphone 4 por exemplo tem uma tela de Super LED-LCD que apesar de ser bem pequena têm uma resolução de 960 x 640, ou seja 640p em uma tela de handheld, isso é uma resolução monstruosa... O Super LCD é usado apenas em handhelds que são portáteis de mão. E sim no geral as TVs de Plasma têm uma qualidade de imagem bem melhor que as TVs de LCD com LED backlight, agora se ambas têm 1080p de resolução, então a resolução é a mesma... Qualidade não é só resolução.

@pcavutto concordo com vc velho, o pior é que a maioria dos vendedores são desinformados, praticamente leigos, insistem em falar que o led é melhor, que o led é aquilo, se for pra falar em questão de recursos, até ai tudo bem, mas em questão de imagem, falar que um painel lcd led é melhor que um plasma é de doer viu, e outra , toda loja de venda é iluminada , não favorecendo o comprador a notar a superioridade de imagem do plasma, já estou pesquisando minha panasonic viera 50", melhor tv do merc

I beg to differ with motion capabilities, plasmas look plain, and you dont really see a difference, but the lcd or leds you really to notice a difference bc the technology in creating the eliminatiin of blurring differs between plasma and lcd type screens, and as for the led, in this vid, it has its brightness set to 100, to make it look more crap, best option for any tv is to get it professionally calibrated

Bought me a Samsung 40-630 LED....not a good choice for my situation I am afraid. My eyes have troubles with this screen. It is almoist and animation! No matter how I change the settings. It has a very good antiglare screen though! But I will go for the Panny P40S20....even though Samsungs TV design looks much better..

I think Plasmas and LED HDTVs are both great! Here is my conclusion: LED HDTVs look more appealing because they have brighter pictures. Plasmas are more photo realistic. Personally I would rather have a more photo realistic picture than an appealing one. Its all based on preference at the end.

dont think leds are worth less though or hate. dont be like that it all has to do with living and viewing conditions leds win over plasma in a bright setting like a ware house ect but yes plasmas do preform better the only reason the led was made was for lcd screens to has close to plasma standers (black lvls color motion speed ext.)

Para comparar tem que colocar 3 tvs de 42 da mesma marca,de led,lcd e plasma,assim é possível ver os resultados de imagens e resolução e cores vivas ou foscas,ja que de marcas diferentes,as resoluções de imagens e suas cores mudam conforme o fabricante,3 da mesma marca,com tecnologias diferentes,oled,lcd e plasma,da pra avaliar melhor os resultados e fazer comparações.Fik a dik ;)

OLED is rubbish. It only works a three years and then the blue color breaks. I think both of them looks weird, but why didnt you adjusted the brightness in the led tv? you can do that and i think it will look better. So I still think led is better because the plasma uses more energy, and because the tv is made to watch it from the front not the side. Show us the difference in front and i will change my oppinion :)

LCD's were the same in their early stages, do some more research and you'll see for yourself.

It's very early to judge OLED displays.

LED/OLED is still work in progress, but I think it's safe to say that PDP is a fully-developed technology.

I think those are apps on the screen, You might need to disable them, I don't own any of the new Samsung's but I'm guessing that's your problem.

The led's deep blacks really don't mean squat when they're only relevant watching at the "sweet spot" which is not the spot the camera is positioned at in this video. Plasmas still rule.

Que lixo de comparativo. O cara nem especifica se a TV com iluminação com LED usa EDGE-LIT ou LED RGB com local dimming.

O contraste de uma LED RGB com local dimming é muito superior e inclusive os Blacks são bem próximos de uma Plasma.

Essas TVs LED da Samsung usam LEDs brancos que é o lixo dos LEDs.

The plasma looks a lot better than the LED-LCD. Part of that is the loss of contrast and color saturation that all LCDs experience when viewed off angle. However, I have seen both technologies side by side, viewing straight on, and the plasma still has better color saturation.

I ended up getting rid of the Samsung LCD and buying a Panasonic G10 plasma. I couldn't be happier.

Until OLED is available in larger sizes and is affordable, plasma is the way to go.

@avshaman Led have now been tested to be the tv with best sound, contrast and color saturation. And I have also been watching plasma and led side by side. You can't actually tell the difference but I can see that plasma tv is harder to see with light on than led. Also the led looks so much cooler :P

Excelente vídeo, mas sugiro que coloque as tvs alinhadas em linha reta no próximo teste. Assim evita aparecer reflexos na plasma da outra tela e a perca de um pouco de qualidade da led pelo ângulo.
