  • Damn nature, u scary!

  • 20 against 1 and they run and leave the little ones!

  • pls.learned how to use V.cam

  • the little guy was more ballsy than the grownups!

  • its nature!

  • dang that sucks at least the 2 lil guys tryed to jump him

  • brave lil one!

  • that baby musk ox did have a choice. It could have kept walking and catch up with the herd while the bear was busy eating the other one. Stupid move..poor baby musk ox.

  • mother nature

  • I hate it when the cowards live

  • Collateral !!

  • Why didn't the herd just take away the bear's credit card?

  • well take 1 n get another bear free

  • well that was depressing

  • Improper headline, as both little musk oxes had four feet!

  • Run little guys run. Big Bear is coming to get you. That 2nd one must have been confused. Big Bear decided to get a 2nd meal. Yum yum.

  • That's animals for u, sometimes pretty smart sometimes like this one PRETTY STUPID.

Why didn't one of the 1000lbs+ bulls with butcher knife like horns and thick fur went on head to head and sliced open the bear's rib cage like butter ?

  • @GIGABACHI Because teh Grizzly is agile enough to handle an attacking Musk and kill it.

  • @Norwegian733

That might be so...but i would like to see how "easy" it really is to evade and kill 600 pounds + of raging Ox.

The Bear wouldn't be unscattered out this one...thats for sure.

  • Too bad the person filming was so bad at it....still, i don't get why that herd start to run away, and on the top of that leaving their youngs behind !!

  • The beautiful work of nature that is at play here is this. The unconditional love of family that the little Musk Ox is experiencing. He self sacrificed to try to save his sibling. This plays out over and over in nearly all creatures, from soldiers going to war to a mothers self sacrifice for her children. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

  • bears gonna bear

  • Même des routes chez les grizizly!

  • Bear doing what bears do. Can't blame him, I had a musk ox burger in Anchorage and they're delicious!!

  • brave little fellow :(

  • What I don't get is - Why did they run? I never understand this with herbivores, especially well armed ones. They have the full opportunity to defend the herd as they were in the beginning, but instead they RUN? It upsets me.

  • mmmm.. musk ox.

  • Bear is trying to survive in a world crueler than anything we people have to deal with.

  • Looks like that grizzly had a "2 for the price of one" catch!

  • Such is nature.

  • Wow. Some great parents there...

  • @brittneylagarde. Not sure where to start with that last comment. Could the grizzlies be doing better because the herds that they feed on are doing well? Don't confuse bears with humans, they kill things because they eat other animals for food. During certain times of the year, bears hunt. They don't take what they don't need. All that being said it was a bummer of a clip.

  • @ultimateguitarwizard not confusing them with grizzlies actually... the grizzly popualtion is rising as moose popluation as well as musk-ox popluations are dropping. Not at an alarming rate of course. I know that they eat other animals for food!! But in all reality did the bear need to kill all 3 musk-ox calves??

  • @brittneylagarde The bear probably did need to eat all three.

    If the bear were female:

-Every single bit of food matters due to the constant need to spend energy on raising cubs and giving them milk.

-Male reproductive success is strongly correlated with size and dominance. In a study on American black bears, during the 6 year study period only about 33% of the adult male bears managed to sire cubs. Being the largest and most dominant is crucial to the success of a male bear.

  • my god.. you capture that with your shoes or your camera?

  • 2 in 1 go...bear got skills...nature is a beautiful sight

  • why would you even want to post that

  • You messed up the fight seen. You should refrain from posting videos in the future unless you dont screw up the climax

  • would have gut shot that bloody grizzly...

  • @brittneylagarde Why? The bear needs to eat too.

  • @Jesusisyhwh because grizzly bears are the main reason why this musk-ox, moose and elk calves die each year. As the grizzly bear popluation rises as it's doing, the deer species and musk-ox are going to become non-exsistent.

  • @brittneylagarde Quit being a softy for animals first the deer animal your against the herbivore then on this video your against the carnivore, make up your mind!

  • @jeffreybowling50 I see what animals are from boths sides whether they are herbirvores or carinvores. There is major difference between the deer attacking the dog "protecting" her fawn video(which I was defending) and this grizzly bear "killing" 3 musk-ox calves when it only needed one in this video. Pull your head out of your ass buddy. I am a hunter and I get to see and learn about these animals first hand even if I'm not harvesting one for food. I've learnt grizzlies are a very nasty animal

  • @brittneylagarde Your disgusting if your a hunter. How lame can you be, leave the animals alone. Fucking girl hunter, you must be a lesbian

  • @jeffreybowling50 you truly are a loser, Just because I am a female hunter doesn't mean I'm a lesbian you idiot oh and actually I'm happily engaged to a fellow named Lucas. Hunting keeps populations in check and dieases out of herds. There are hunting draws in place so you can't just go out and shoot whatever you see. Don't be jealous I can actually go outdoors, view wildlife and love every minute of it unlike you who would rather send countless hours on youtube.

  • @brittneylagarde Enjoy wildlife?? Every video I see you on your bitching about something. I am glad you weren't at this video you'd probably shoot the bear, or shoot the dear in the other one. And thus disrupt nature and the natural flow of things. Yeah I'm sure your straight bitch, your a lesbian I smelled u out. Fish

  • @jeffreybowling50 Why would I shoot a doe with a little fawn plus a grizzly bear you're not even allowed to hunt in the first place? Weird isn't it? If I'm bitching about everything what exactly are you doing then? and it's not just these 2 videos. You are clearly the biggest HYPOCRITE on the face of the earth... I'm not the only person that hunts and not the only female that enjoys to hunt, does that mean they're all lesbians too? Clearly you've never felt the touch of a woman and never will.

  • Pretty tough to watch for me, but yeah, nature. Brave second little guy though, about as stupid as the Mxicans hehe!

The camera man should have honked or drove between them maybe a happy ending for him and the viewers? If it was a dodge RAM hey, save the family!!

  • szegény :(

  • what did that ox think was the best thing that would happen defending the other one

  • This is just allecatin race relations between grizzly Americans and ox

  • Not only they don't defend their cubs but they also leave them behind.

Best youtube video ever, image quality was awesome, Steven Spielberg is a shit.

  • DOUBLE KILL!!!!!!

  • @JUGGERNAUNT1000 lol u wrong for that

  • next time ,get a grip on your camera skills.

  • Im supprised they all ran, usually in heards like that they will defend their young.

  • ÖWNED

  • lol

  • double kill

  • Double kill?

  • @Porabany you asshole i just left that comment

  • @xXxchipperchopperxXx Poor you :( Mathematic's too hard for you?

  • @Porabany what do you mean?

  • @xXxchipperchopperxXx I was first dude ;* Cruel but true ^^

  • @Porabany yes right after i posted it i read yours and was like son of a bitch

  • @xXxchipperchopperxXx Yeah i know something about it ;P Now im reading some comments before posting my ;>

  • Its nature, there's nothing sad about it.

  • What kinda stupid animal lets the their children unprotected ??

  • f***you mom thanks for letting me die

  • lol one little ox goes help his bro

  • There is a natural order to things. The second baby musk ox is the tragedy here. He/she didn't follow the teachings of the adults. Run!

Lesson: You don't have to out run the bear: You have to outrun your buddy.

  • @athom50 HAHAHAH GREAT LESSON,

  • i wonder could a Lion take a Ox down

  • @jakethesnakerobertz1

watch: "battle at krueger nationalpark" =)

  • I understand that this is the way of nature, but it's still sad to watch. It's a good thing my meat comes already slaughtered and cut into a nice steak cus I couldnt do that shit myself.

I'd be holding a gun looking at the poor cow just staring at me, then I'd cry and put the gun down and go make a salad or something. lol

  • that lil bugger was born to lead. what an incredible display of courage it showed upon hearing the cry of his kin.

  • i know it sucks, but i cant help but imagine how delicious baby musk ox must be. kinda jealous, i gotta say.

  • @squidtastic84 hahaha well said

  • Rather than title this video "musk ox attacks bear," you really should have called it "musk ox gets their shit wrecked by bear."

  • Not the best parents. The adults practically trample their young running away from the bear, no wonder the were almost extinct.

  • PUSSY ASS musk oxen,, they ran from bear

  • this happens all the time regardless of whether or not we see it. face the facts people, nature follows this pattern everyday

  • ...a rare capture ...indeed

...predation is by far more humane than most of our food (veal is baby meat) processes...predation is a part of the natural food chain ...yes ...it hurt to watch ...still... bears have cute babies too ...and the wastage is little if anything at all

  • nice vid

  • Why you nimal loving hippies yeah the video can make you sympathetic but in natural selection the slowest and too aggresive calf where selected against

  • "Aw he's going after the little ones, i don't want to watch this shit; This sucks." Haha i thank you for the laughter you've brought upon me sir.

  • Bears are ASSHOLES.

  • you should have shot that fucking cocksucking bear. god i hate them an sharks

  • @shakejuntgurl stfu

  • @shakejuntgurl hopefully evolution will keep your genes from spreading among the human population

  • wow that was amazing..i would say good for the little fella but..

  • aww he was trying to save his friend

  • It could have just run cause the bear was still busy killing the first one

  • I expected the adults to form a circle with the young in the center. This wasn't quite what we read in school.

  • this is an amazing video. i was in prudhoe bay last weekend and was lucky enough to see some musk oxen. they are amazing animals

  • I don't think they're all that smart, (the musk oxen)

  • lol its like CHARGE!!!!!! (hesitates) shit those things r bigger than they wer 40 yards ago

  • nature at her finest

  • lmao the herd left the babies by themselves. No wonder they were going extinct -_- All the brave ones die when they're young and the cowards run away

  • AT halftime, it's Bear 3 Musk Oxen 0

  • Every one's got to eat!

  • absolutely amazing! that little guy stands his ground. he must of been so scared knowing he was about to die, but he went out doing himself proud!

  • pity the quality of video was so poor at the big moment - but fascinating capture of a rarely seen event. Yeah, I wondered too, why the adults didn't come back to rescue the little one?

  • Lmfao

  • And that's how you do that

  • I hat this world! :( All this beauty laced with all that horror. :(

  • @judeazion8 yet you owe your life to both

  • @judeazion8 homo

  • So the bear killed some baby Ox, thats life, get over it people its part of the food chain, predator goes after the weakest link.

  • why can't everyone just except the fact that this is nature, and there is no antagonist in nature?

  • Do you think maybe the male was missing from the herd to get them all to defend?

  • um prudoe area?? dealta junction??

  • sweet video faggot i didnt know I was gunna watch a baby ox die. jesus christ change the description...

  • fantastic camera work, have i seen this gentlemans work in national geographic? such clarity.i can only imagine how delicious these little musk oxs must be when u live outside in the snow and all the stores in town treat u funny cause ur different.

  • Scored a double-header. Nature ain't Disneyland. I'm surprised he was able to run off the adults without a fight thoug.

  • I guess the Musk Ox does not have enough intelligence to know that if they were ti stick together they could have killed the bear.

    William

  • you would think the mother of the baby ox would have somehow charged the bear, i know this is nature and shit but if i was there i would have maybe tried to distract the bear by beeping my horn and warning them or drive up or between them or something this sort of shit makes me feel sad.

  • @colsh1690 that is probably the worst thing you could do ! im not having a pop at you but you cant interfere with nature just because it makes you sad

  • @stigg46 why not? i know you cant interfere with nature but the way i see it if i was sitting in my car like i would have driven between them, animals have their nature and humans have theirs, but it would have been the wrong thing to do but i would still have done it.

  • @colsh1690 Go to a cow farm and stop the farmer from making more McDonald's meat.

  • @MishuTaste i would'nt go that far mate.

  • @colsh1690 and then the bear and her cubs would starve. Nature is a balance.

  • Lol, no wonder they're almost extinct.

  • I believe this video is fake! Everyne knoes the Grizzley bear is a green tinge to it and the woman has a Texan accent! There are no grizzleys in Texas, Only black bears...

  • Is it a brown bear or a grizzly bear?

  • @MishuTaste They are the same thing...

  • That was a noble way for the little mite to die.

  • those ox are beautiful animals

too bad for the little ones

  • FOCUS!! U FAIL!

  • if i were there it would be open season on that bear...

  • focus!

  • Charge the bear and scare him away. Epic fail.

  • that little guy stood no chance..."the worlds most one sided fights part 2 " lol

  • that's the way that wild life works..nature is perfect..we are going away from it.and we;ll lose ourselves..that bear don't kill for fun ..the bear kills because as you he want to survive

  • bad grizzly bear

  • "YOU FUCKING DICK!!!" ::attempts to charge into the bear::

  • We (people) always tend to see such events with malice or as cruel. I am no exception. The bear was hungry. It's really no different from a person filling his/her plate at a buffet.

  • Well bear needs to eat.

  • the bear got a bonus =3

  • stupid offspring

  • that was sum crazy shyt, that bear got his lunch hahaha

  • The adults left the juveniles. Typical Americans.

  • The musk ox in the video are decended from immigrants.

Alaska's musk ox were wiped out by the Russians .... the stock was reintroduced from Greenland.

  • The animals the bear killed looked healthy, but were smaller animals. Yes, Nature is cruel. Another aspect of this is there may be too many bears, and not enough hunters. Wished I were there with my rifle . i would have loved to bust that bear's ass.

  • this is nature every body eats think where that steak u eat or that pork chop or chicken u eat comes from it all was living an now made into a meal! bears serve a purpose . . what do u think happins to the deformed an un healthy animals?? . . the sick an week?? bears do great things for a healthy population of oxs helps the sick animals from spreadind deases an othere things around the herd!

  • Yes but thoes Oxes are strange, the left their children

  • @paulbrazil01 IT'S SO TRUE! I agree! It alos keeps the population normal.

  • you wanna offend Ox fans or what? XD get the title right dude^^

  • marvo75 is a stupid fuck witt.....corse bears serve a prupose everythin does other wise they wudda died out!!!! ppl should shoot u for bin so ignorant

  • Not true...........

  • wakeoforion999 Your a tree huggin fucktard. I go to Alaska around 2 times a year and well KILL ever bear we see. YES we don't use anything, just KILL! Once we took a grizzlies head cuz it was fucking huge. Animals like bears serve NO purpose, like alligators,POINTLESS>>>KILL EM ALL!

  • No animal in an ecosystem is pointless :S You need preditors to keep the prey animals down. Without them the animals that would be kept at low numbers would suddenly have a giant population burst and destroy the whole ecosystem.

  • how many fktards am i gonna cross b4 ppl understand everything has purpose? Fk, u ppl must have rode the short bus as children. ManningUp has a point. Go read it. If bears would b problomatic, man would have hunted them all. but we have some under protection. WHAT NOW, BITCHES.

  • This is nature at it's best. It can seem cruel but really it's not. That bear didn't attack those ox because it was mean or evil or anything like that. That bear has to eat. It's that simple. It's called NATURE. This happens every day in the wild, whether it's a Bear in Alaska or a Lion taking down an Antelope in Afirca. And, it's a beautiful thing.

  • stupid fucking bear! and the stupid adults all ran! i will shoot that bear so dead!

  • i dont think you will. i think youll have a hell of a time finding it, to start.

  • you=ignorant

  • If I may, falcons and w/e do the same thing to baby penguins. I see falcons serving purpose everywhere. They keep the population stable. Go shoot ureself in da ballz, we need less ppl with ure gene pool.

  • All those coward musk ox could have trampled that bear. Instead they all ran off, and left the little ones by themselves. Even the little musk ox had more balls than the big ones.

Sad, but the mother deserved to lose her children on this occassion.

  • @dandestructo Of couse they ran! If a crowd of humans were with you, wouldn't you run? The mother never deserved to loose her children, and no one else would no matter what.

  • Give me a fucking break. You expect the Musk Ox to have the problem solving skills of a human being?

The Musk Oxen reacted to the threat and did poorly. Might have something to do with the fact that they are Musk Oxen and not people. They don't deserve to lose their young because they didn't make any complex decisions. It's all instinct.

  • @dandestructo I've never seen such pussy ass musk ox. The water buffalo or elephants I see usually form up around the calfs, but all the adults just high tailed it out of there. The little guys friend was the only one who stood up for him and he got eaten too. They must be French

  • @dandestructo I just wasn't fast enough didn't mean it was braver it mean it was part of the food chain

  • @dandestructo now ya know why they are going extinct lol the little ones have more balls than the huge ones

  • @dandestructo It's called mother nature....dumbass

  • food chain, circle of life, invaded territory, and dinner. the only thing the bear did out of instinct was protect its territory and eat. circle of life is exactly that...part of life. and thats the way it has been and always will be. quit bitchin about it. you cant expect a bear to be vegan. i say, good for the bear.

  • that's just the way nature is........ period.........

suck it up and sit down

  • o/' its the circuul ooof liihiiife!. o/'

  • SHould the gulliotine be brought back?

  • Brave little fellow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The Little one was like : CHARGE !! FOR THE OX-FAMILY!

  • Wtf the other little one tries to safe his brother :O omg

  • attack grizzly looks like it happend the other way around asso

  • The oxen defence circle kinda fail. They should stand in circle heads pointing out but around 0:30 you can see many oxen standing rear end against bear. Not very clever.

I bet the oxen didn't even realize how close the bear was until it dashed forward.

  • Girls, girls, you're both pretty
