The West needs fuel subsidies from govts not bail outs to help it recover economically. A year of flat fuel oil prices would allow sensible planning and savings. As long oil prices are rising so fast the economy cannot keep up. Brazil, Russia and India have cheap oil. China's economy is heavily subsidised. The only subsidies the west benefit from are for fishermen and farmers, which do not create job and hark back to the 1800s! Wake up and realise free market economies have become uncompetitive!

I had to come back and watch this one again. This is a good one. It is cool to see how others react to it. Most people reject the idea that they are under the control of someone else's agenda. It really takes a leap to pull away and see the big picture--and then form a calm response. i live out in the country for years..no tv and i dont buy cable tv..when we moved back to town and saw tv after not seeing it for years wow what a shock ..dont even watch it any way now..once in a bule moon..if you have not seen it for a long time,it looks vary evil..and whats with the news..its opinions with a tiny bit of news mixed in..dont see how they call it news at all

I had to come back and watch this one again. This is a good one. It is cool to see how others react to it. Most people reject the idea that they are under the control of someone else's agenda. It really takes a leap to pull away and see the big picture--and then form a calm response. I would not be the one who goes out and stocks up on guns and whatnot--but it is a good idea to get ahold of a stash of non-perishable foods, enough for your family and several others in case things go really badly.

How hyperinflation affects your community is going to depend on what your community is like right now. If your city went through a big change in the last 10-15 years as far as new businesses, new city developments, etc then you will be hit HARD. If you're in a "developing city" things will not be quite as bad.

All. Please breathe deep and try and relax. I lived in Brazil right through hyperinflation. Something like 25000 % a year. That's right, 25 thousand percent inflation! We all survived even when there was NO MONEY around. During a big crisis human beings can be very peaceful and will come together and help one another and there will be happiness in the process as people realize that there are more important things in. Try and relax. Do what you can, be a citizen but don't panic.
