Those LRV's were so much better before they were re-habbed by CAF and subsequently made to be by far, the most uncomfortable, un-passenger friendly LRV's on the planet. And the new CAF 43xx cars are no better. For me personally, the system hasn't been the same since the PCC fleet was retired in 1999. I really miss those PCC cars. Thank goodness for the PA Trolley Museum where Pittsburgh PCC's live long, healthy lives in their retirement community that is the museum railway.

Fun Fact: Pittsburgh T trains, unlike most Light Rail in the US are not Standard 4' 8.5" gauge, but rather a broad gauge (5' 2.5") known as the Pennsylvania Trolley Gauge. The only current users of this gauge are the T, New Orleans Trolleys and some Philadelphia transit (SEPTA) trains.

I live in Edmonton Canada and our LRT train system has a downtown subway as well. Those train seem to be an older model of Seimens SD160.

The LRT with 42xx you seen in the video were originally built in the 1980's but recently rebuilt. the the with 43xx were built and delivered between 2004-05.
