I don't care if you severely doubt it or whatever, he has the certificate from 1990 to prove it. No political candidate wants to do this though because all the unemployed will be furious, but in reality it wont make things worse. The cartel problem could be solved through legalization of the drugs. Building up a border wall is a frivolous act. It will never be secure enough. The border is too big. This must be solved socially and diplomatically.

Do you believe there is an immigration problem or not? All I hear is, "this is racist!!..., they are just trying to find work!!.." I understand this but you guys never acknowledge or state where the line should be drawn. Why don't they come legally? Its not illegal to become an american. Its seem like you want special treatment.

I have to agree with you regarding the people screaming racism. It is not fair as it is law. It would be a horrible position to be in on either side especially when you come across so many nice people who just want a better life. The Mexican government needs to be cleaned up and the cartel outsted. Stop the drug trade

@TheGoddessCaroline. I see your point. Wow, someone online told me it takes about 5 years! . Well, Im am trying to see both sides of the issue, and both sides have valid points. This is a very delicate subject matter. I hope both side are able to find happiness on common ground. I do feel though as long as both sides take care not to make this a race issue, a solution can be found. I am African American and just as I am proud of that, I respect the Mexican population effected by this issue.

If you truly believe there must be a line that can't be crossed, then your only reason is because of non-taxpayers. Let's see: we spend hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars on the war on drugs and hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars on "protecting our border". Now imagine we didn't. Mexican drug cartels would no longer be funded. Drugs would be legal making them too cheap. Our country will be free again with the price of a couple non-taxpayers.. i don't get it.

@crossgate123 I feel for them. But let me say this,. Its unfortunate, but EVERYBODY cant just come here at will. I can understand the plight of those who come here from mexico illegally. But immigration laws were not set in place to regulate Mexicans from coming her undocumentedly, they apply to all foreigners. I understand and respect they are looking for a new life, but their complete disregard of our american laws and hardworking taxpayers who pay to support those laws..kinda vexes me.

@Saintfrank1968 I agree that there need to be immigration laws and they need to be enforced. But people at the same time love to scapegoat immigrants for their problems. Illegal immigrants if anything help boost the economy. Want a good example? Look at Europe and look at the United States. Without immigrants increasing the birth rate and providing manual labor we would likely be facing the same socioeconomic issues Europe is facing. They have many old people and very low birth rate = collapse.

First, illegals were meant to work in the fields and not in main stream blue collar jobs.
Next, if you have to punish someone, punish the people that hired them.
Punish the employers starting with the federal, state, and local government.
Punish the people who hire the illegals to work.
Punish the government officials who have illegals working for them in there ranches, in their homes, and in their businesses.
